Yes,you can find God.Great scriptures of Hinduism give the answer.

Who is God? Where is God? How can I come to know God?"

God has no names, but all names are the names of God. Whether you call Him this or that, He remains Who He is. But in our tradition we call God by the loving name Siva, which is only one of His 1,008 traditional names. Supreme God Siva is both within us and outside of us. Even desire, the fulfillment of desire, the joy, the pain, the sorrow, birth and death -- this is all Siva, nothing but Siva. This is hard to believe for the unenlightened individual who cannot see how a good, kind and loving God could create pain and sorrow. Actually, we find that Siva did not -- not in the sense that is commonly thought. God gave the law of karma, decreeing that each energy sent into motion returns with equal force.

In looking closely at this natural law, we can see that we create our own joy, our own pain, our own sorrow and our own release from sorrow. Yet we could not even do this except for the power and existence of our loving Lord. It takes much meditation to find God Siva in all things, through all things. In this striving -- as in perfecting any art or science -- regular daily disciplines must be faithfully adhered to.

Siva is the immanent personal Lord, and He is transcendent Reality. Siva is a God of love, boundless love. He loves each and every one. Each soul is created by Him and guided by Him through life. God Siva is everywhere. There is no place where Siva is not. He is in you. He is in this temple. He is in the trees. He is in the sky, in the clouds, in the planets. He is the galaxies swirling in space and the space between galaxies, too. He is the universe. His cosmic dance of creation, preservation and dissolution is happening this very moment in every atom of the universe. God Siva is, and is in all things. He permeates all things. He is immanent, with a beautiful form, a human-like form which can actually be seen and has been seen by many people in visions. He is also transcendent, beyond time, cause and space.

That is almost too much for the mind to comprehend, isn't it? Therefore, we have to meditate on these things. God Siva is so close to us. Where does He live? In the Third World. And in this form He can talk and think and love and receive our prayers and guide our karma. He commands vast numbers of devas who go forth to do His will all over the world, all over the galaxy, throughout the universe. These are matters told to us by the rishis; and we have discovered them in our own meditations. So always worship this great God. Never fear Him. He is the Self of your self. He is closer than your own breath. His nature is love, and if you worship Him with devotion you will know love and be loving toward others. Devotees of God Siva love everyone.

This is how God Siva can be seen everywhere and in everyone. He is there as the Soul of each soul. You can open your inner eye and see Him in others, see Him in the world as the world. Little by little, discipline yourself to meditate at the same time each day. Meditate, discover the silent center of yourself, then go deep within, to the core of your real Being. Slowly the purity comes. Slowly the awakening comes.

People find different ways to find God. Well, Im not forcing you or want to make you join my religion or anything, but I think it would be helpful to read the book of Quran and read the scientific proofs that God had stated, 1400 years ago before people discovered science. let me give you a few examples, the big bang, the mountains that holds the earth together, the development of a baby in a mother's womb, all these stated when people have no clue about science 1400 years ago. You will find many things there, trust me.

God is not lost or is He hiding. You might not be able to see Him but you can sure see what he has created. The bible tells us that, “For since the creation of the world His invisible attributes, His eternal power and divine nature, have been clearly seen, being understood through what has been made, so that they are without excuse. For even though they knew God, they did not honor Him as God or give thanks, but they became futile in their speculations, and their foolish heart was darkened.” If you are in the dark and can’t see a chair is the chair lost? No you are! You need directions to the chair. The same is when coming to God our hearts have become darkened we need someone that can leads us to God because we could never find Him or come to Him on our own.
How do you think that you breathe or think? Do you believe that this was just chance that we all have lived? The bible also tells us that He upholds all things by the word of His power. I think the real question is how can I find my way to God? And the way to come to God is through Jesus Christ. He is the true mediator nobody in this world can come to God but through Jesus, who died for you that you might be saved from eternal damnation. Repent and believe in the Lord Jesus and you will be saved (Find God)

Absolutely!!! It was something more formal, yet I used to talk to Him whatever the reason and because I kept forward to my own ambition and desires, when He gave me avertisements I saved none and did my way going into more and more trubles! Into an end, within a deep depresion, He saved my life (!!!) the very second I left away of all my deep desires... There, empty heart, I was filled with God's Light and Peace and Love - a complete New LIFE, a new body, a New Vision over the past and the future :) :) :) Yes, He is my Saviour!!!

Why 'search' ?!
God is within everyone of us - and all you will need to find Him/Her, is to do some sincere and strictly private soul-searching.
Ask yourself these simple Questions, at each day's close. And 'to thine own self be true', as you Answer them :
...Have you satisfactorily completed all your duties and responsibilities, for the day - both in your home, and workplace ?
...Have you taken care of all the daily needs and necessities of those who are totally, or partially, dependent on you ?
Then, you have already found God - and offered your prayers to Him/Her.
...And have you gone out of your way, to bring a warm smile upon the face of someone less fortunate than you are ? Or spent some time in keeping a little child amused and happy ?
Then, you have also pleased God.
...'Heaven' and 'Hell' are not in some realm that one reaches only after death : They are both right here on Earth, and are experienced in our own lifetime itself - as the results of our own daily actions and reactions !

Ant, to answer about how you can find God:

Consider that when you look at yourself in a mirror you understand that the image you see is not CAUSED by the mirror, right?

You realize that the image is CAUSED by who is standing in front of the mirror, not by the mirror itself.

Now consider whether you can find a place where Creation ends and where you begin.

Creation is the mirror.

If Creation is the mirror, Who is standing in front of it?

Hint: There is no one else in Creation who can answer that question as you….

Now answer your question, with the aforementioned in mind.

Hope this helps.....

Lets put it this way... suppose you wanted to go on a safari to find a tiger in the wild. Do you think you could go to Africa and find a tiger in the jungle by yourself. I dont think you could. You would have to hire a guide. God's guides are not exactly for hire. They are his ministers. You can't find God on your on. Go to church listen to the guide he will lead you to Christ which in turn leads you to God.

Asalamulikum

very nice question,
look a the creations. You can look at anything
and see how beautiful everything is. Once we can think and wonder how vast everything is, Just think we are limited and everything in this world has a limit.
But God or Allah {STW} is the greatest, all knowing, the most loving, He is one and only.

Brother, we find Him everywhere we look. We see Him smiling in flowers in full bloom. We see Him in His creations throughout in all magnificence, in art, history. Look how He created the classical music from Beethoven, Mozart, Chopin and all, which we still listen to up to this time. But we see Him most in our own agony. Look closely and He's just waiting for us at least to see Him.

Go down the street 3 blocks and hang a Left. Then go 5 blocks and hang a right. Then just look for his sign.
