Do 50% of Bush supporters still believe Iraq was involved in 9/11 and that the US found WMDs? The answer is yes.

The poll question gives a false choice, as you would expect from Fox 'news.' There is no war to lose in Iraq, just an illegal occupation to end. Repeat after me, it's not a war, it's an occupation. It's not a war, it's an occupation. The Iraqis want us OUT, what part of that can't Republicans understand?

I do not think Iraq is a win lose situation. The reason for all the fighting is because America is there defending oil not Iraq. What your question should ask is how many people believe our government is corrupt and know we are defending oil. I am not a Democrat nor am I republican I am not a liberal nor am I an Independent. What I am is an American that is fed up by media and government I want a solution to our problems not Iraq's. We do not belong there fighting for what is called their freedom. So your question is unfair and can not possibly be answered correctly without an explanation of what people mean. You sound like a politician with that question only looking for yes or no answers for situations that have circumstances. So this will all get twisted like all the Media is. Why don't you ask question that are yes or no questions if that is all you want. Like do you hate Bush? YES. See how easy that is.

1. Fox news is no news. 2. The U.S. military invaded and occupied Iraq. The war there that was started by the U.S. government is a civil war. 3. The U.S. lost when Bush and his cronies decided (before 9/11) to invade Iraq without telling the U.S. citizens why. The only thing the U.S. military and government and people can do now is try to limit and repair the damage done to Iraq, the Middle East and our international reputation. Good luck on that. Should take at least a few generations if we all work together, which we won't.

Did Fox ask Republicans the same question?

You can get twenty percent of any group to agree with anything if you ask it right.

Like did they ask, "world better if we lose in Iraq"
or "world better if we left Iraq"?

Since I don't know, I can't really tell you if its a true reflection of twenty percent of Fox viewers who identify themselves as Democrats. I personally don't think there are tons of people who are Democrats who watch Fox with any regularity.
And who checked their registration?
Its just possible, that many Republicans called in pretending to be Democrats and then gave answers they want.

Not exactly.

19% of the people who responded to the survey and Identified themselves as Democrats said that. Some of the democrats could have identified themselves as Republicans, or vice versa.

Without knowing their confidence margin, I cannot say how accurate the poll is.

A note: this is what taking a statistics class does to your brain.

further note: I amazed at everyone taking this time to bash Fox instread of responding to the question.

Forty years ago we were involved in another unwinable war. We hung out there far too long and lost far too many of our soldiers, not to mention all the civilians that died. Sometimes we have to accept the fact that we are not accomplishing anything but losing our soldiers.

Ignore what the pundits say, Steer clear of the sound bites focus on what you see over there. Chaos.

We are looking at a changing definition of Victory over there. Step back and ask who benefits from our presence over there. Do we benefit, do the people if Iraq benefit? If you can answer yes, and you can state what we will accomplish by staying, then people will listen.

Meanwhile pulling does equate with losing if we do not have a definition of victory.

There are 2 angles to this: a million) those democrats who rightly see FOX (the channel) as top-wing biased and for this reason seek for to counter it interior the organic area of loose speech and a loose press, no longer via shutting it down (freedom comes first) yet via arguing that is factors and pointing out that is flaws. that is sane and purely. 2) those socialists who've been in my party to swell that is ranks for quite a few an prolonged time and who've for the main area taken over. They see FOX (the channel) as a risk to their schedule, have faith in "The Ends Justifies the skill" and slander, twist, libel, and use all way of unjust arguments to insult and reason hatred against FOX (the channel) via pretending that's the FOX information this is like that, no longer the channel as an entire with a particularly impartial FOX information (elementary bias as shown via self sustaining analyze), purely as CNN has the form of bais). FOX information quite often have been given the recognition it has via the fake thought that that is habit of exhibiting all sides became a demonstration of bias; occasion: for the period of the conflict, they had the "audacity" to show successes for the period of the Iraq conflict. it is not information. that takes place many times! We had an excellent form of successes, yet setbacks have been uncommon. human beings are not getting information. information is on the subject of the unusual, the unusual, the uncommon, otherwise, each homicide via each fool could be on the information. it is not. The murders that finally end up on the information are the unusual ones. comparable with thefts. Why are not vehicle thefts shown on the information? they are hardship-loose. FOX information shows all sides, even no remember if it is not information. The declare that FOX information isn't information is partly and justifiable genuine, although that's extremely fresh (I watch CNN and FOX, as i do in comparison to being blind in a single eye as a Democrat, nor would desire to any Republican). FOX's communicate shows and different reflects are genuinely biased in the direction of the nicely suited. As an previous-type Democrat, do no longer you dare enable FOX information be silenced. I help loose Speech and the Democrats protecting the line in Washington are waiting for you individuals who purely awoke to what we've been scuffling with for years (socialism in our party) to get your act jointly! Took you long sufficient. See the patriots in our party. we want brakes and gasoline no remember what direction our united states of america is going, as a one party equipment is a runaway vehicle. Your turn to brake.

No one wins a war, of any kind. Those who allege to win have paid too high a price in their errant need, or want to pay any price for the sake of bragging rights or boost in their personal or political power base. Which for the most part is an illusion. While those who have "lost" gain in terms of monetary and humanitarian aid in the rebuilding of their societies. Iraq was based on a false premise, by people who believe if the lie is big enough everyone will believe it. Unfortunately, that idea was also used by another dictator in the 1940's.

When will people wake up and understand that war, of any kind only benefits the power structures that support them. The American military industrial complex has grown into the monster we were warned about in the farewell address by Eisenhower, more is the pity we didn't listen.

Don't believe polls. Anyone with a high school education knows they are easily changed. Fox news probably did the poll by calling people in prison and saying it was unbias. The only reason fox news did the poll was to make up a news story. Its sad when a news organization resorts to making up headlines but isn't that what news is about. Another drive by media lieing to the public.
