You should probably go to www.usps.gov and then navigate to their employment/jobs section, and search for job openings in your area. There will be various forms and information available there.

You can also go to your local post office and inquire, but they'll probably ask you to check the website.

It's easier to get a job if you know someone who already works there, as they can let you know when new openings become available, and they can give you the job reference numbers to look up on the website directly.

Most Post office jobs require a civil service test. In my state anyway. You could check the internet for the civil service site and go from there.

You can find info on usps.com

You'll have to apply, then take a civil service test. If you do well enough on the test, you'll be called for an interview, but that can take awhile, even a couple years.
