Generally they are the ones who sing the loudest, volunteer for the most things, act the most pious and make the most comparisons between themselves and others as a way to show how much holier they are then everybody else. In short they tend to over-compensate - the empty wagon generally makes the most noise! Thats how you can tell that an atheist is insecure, he is the most arrogant, quickest with the insults and name calling and first to attack those who hold a different view. A person who is confident in his position is not threatened by others holding a different position and as result does not need to be arrogant or insulting to compensate for his own insecurities.
