He only had the Roman Empire and such a smaller world to contend with a 1000 years ago and he got nailed to a cross for his efforts!
Why the hell would he want to show his face today with half the planet at war in the name of their own GOD being Mr. perfect ?
Instead of a career boost he'd be lynched by web-cam :( or locked away in area 51 !
Better to wait to meet us with his hand out after the holocaust one at a time !

actually it's been over 2000 years, but you're right... it would be quite the deal closer for people to actually SEE this imaginary savior that nobody has ever seen. Ooh sorry, nobody except the imaginary/fictional people who are written in the same book as he is. They have seen him too.
Anyone else who claims to have seen him is delusional unless they are talking about a painting or a statue or some other graven image.

He said when He ascended to Heaven that He had to go back and "prepare a place" (mansion) for you (us)......" He also said that "I will not leave you comfortless, i will send you a Comforter (Holy Spirit)...." The Comforter IS God's manifestation in mankind today! Therefore, those who have the TRUE love of God in their hearts as prime Christian examples should have, are the ones through which Jesus SHOWS Himself to the world! He never completely left us.

Jesus isn't dead! Don't listen to that other guy. We don't know why Jesus hasn't... I guess it's all part of his plan. It's our job as Christians to boost Christianity and help spread the word until Jesus returns , then he will take all the beleivers to heaven.

Look we have eyes of faith. That's what faith is all about.
Jesus said even if someone rise from the dead they will not believe. He doesn't need to show you proof. We have the Scriptures. All written there for us to read and believe and repent and trust in Jesus!

Definitely a bad career move. He needs to do Leno and get a makeover. Crying statues and stigmata are so last millennium.

He shows Himself in every Catholic Mass every day, when bread and water is transubstantiated into His body and blood.
