Lord is in all of us. Even those who seem not to carry the Lord with them. They are just unaware of his presence that flows through them. People who choose not to believe or feel the Love are ignorant of Him.

Long time ago when the religious books were written or the teachings were passed on, the Lord was also mentioned an exemplary person for the common man to emulate.

So if you treat all persons/humans or even animals as good entities, then you will find that life becomes easier, simpler and therefore a happier one since you are not worried about why one is like that and why one did that and so on. There are other questions that get spawned due to this, but for the moment, we stick to the question.

But the basic thing is, that the expression "see the Lord in everyone" is trying to convey, that everyone you see is inherently nice and if they are doing something wrong, then either they are ignorant that they are doing a wrong thing, or under some pressure which can anyway make people do wrong things.

Thus a wrong act is a temporary uncontrollable act and the person should not be blamed for it. If that is the feeling you maintain, then you will not hate or dislike anyone and the result of that attitude is that the other has no reason to hate you too.

Yes but this doesn't mean that everyone is the Lord. We are all part and parcel of the Lord. Though we are subject to illusion He is not. He is full within Himself and expands unlimitedly we can only expand up to 9 times in our highest realization. We have all the qualities of God just not in the same quantity. As a drop of water from the great ocean has all the qualities of the ocean, but never becomes the great ocean. God expands into his Paramatma (Vishnu form) into each and every universe and each and every living being sitting next to them within their hearts. That is how animals know what to do (instinct) (another name for God) but We are not God. never have been never will be. That is what makes Him Supreme.

yes off course i do, Bhagavad Gita says which are the words spoken by the supreme lord of the whole space Lord Krishna that we all are souls and we reside in this body temporarily which is like an outer covering which perishes in due course of time but we souls do not by nature we are immortal and along with the tiny infinitesimal soul there also reside our very dear friend the supersoul Lord Krishna who keeps on witnessing our activities.
In Bhagavad Gita Lord Krishna said that He is in everything and every thing is in Him but, still He is aloof from this material world He resides in eternal abode Goloka Vrindavana. It is like the sun and its rays, when sunlight falls in our house do we say sun has fallen to our house? no but sun and the sunlight are nondifferent from each other.Lord Krishna the greater than the greatest is even in an atom.He can become smaller than the smallest and bigger than the biggest.that is GODs power. No one can claim to be God.But this statement should not be misunderstood that we all are God. No, most impersonalist like the mayavadi's and some athiest think like that ways but it is a very wrong conception. And one who thinks like that i challenge them Lord Krishna the supreme Lord performed amourious pasttimes in Vrindavana 5000yrs back can any one Lift a hill(Govardhan) on his little finger for 7 days, can any one kill big demons at the age of 3 months, can any one swallow the forest fire........
If some body claimes to be God he should know the meaning of God:
God means who is complete in all the six opulences
wealth, knowledge,beauty,strength,fame,renunciation
God is one who posses all this six opulences in full.
Hare Krishna.

Oh! So again you are here with shortest but most difficult question.

I have to work out the question with the help of logic. First of all, forgetting about myself, let me ask: What if somebody sees God in everyone? What will s/he do then? In answer to this, it occurs to me that it depends upon her/his relationship with God. well, now switching over to myself:

I must find out how i see Lord first of all. As my guide, my friend, my parents or a miracle who fulfills my each and every desire? Do i respect Him or love him as friend? When i need something, i request Him or order him? I think, i see him as myself, i am extension of his form only, and when this is true for one person, it is true for everyone. Thus Lord resides in everyone. Logic proves this.

So i must treat everyone as i treat myself. And in doing this, i should be principle centered and not self centered. I think i fulfill this criteria with 75% score. For 100% i have to still work.

But yes Sir, i see Lord in everyone.

God is great. Keep smiling. :)

Anyone who can do that has made it and won the final victory.
Is it easy? In my experience very very few achieve it. As for me, I fail miserably although I find after trying to see everyone motivated by just one entity(GOD) as taught by the realised anger and hate does subside quite a bit. Well do not get disheartened though. As i understand it ,the Lord appreciates even the attempt and helps one evolve

Yes. What is seen is t he Lord and what sees is also the lord
It is like this :
What we breath is gas .( the mixure of gas wiht oxygen inthe atmospher )
what we drink is also gases ( the compound o Oxygenand Hydrogen)
What we eat is also gases ( Hydrogen, Oxygen , Nitrogen and cabon dioxide ).
K now that all the elements of the world are formed from the the stage of the gas Hydrogen in progression by adding mor and more of he componers of the gas.- electron and proton.
If you can see the same components in all the things you see , you see the same lord in everything too.

No. I see a lot of kindness, goodness and love in people though, and the general belief in doing the right thing. I think this is what people who 'see the Lord in everyone' really see. I don't know why they choose to give it a different name, perhaps it is because they cannot believe that something as beautiful as emotion and empathy could have arisen without divine intervention.

I know that God is all
Sometimes I forget this, and see only myself in the other.
For me it depends on my state of "mind"
I can be that one, until I am not.
Then the day just gets worse, until I can feel that again.
It is like being held in a place that is "padded" with light and one stands aside and is the witness.
Until "my stuff" surfaces, then I am at the mercy of whatever comes at me, until I can re-connect.
In the knowing the knowing will come.
It is a discipline to be in this place, and a discipline to maintain moment to moment.
That is my sadhana.

It is a wonder to behold the God light in all, it touches the heart and is a gift given.

Honestly...no. I should. I try to, but too often i fall short of that. But I do believe the Lord puts people in our lives for a reason, so at times, I wonder what he's trying to tell me, and how I can implement his advice, that I get through other people.
