i once or twice huged a person (not my parents) while i was crying. it made me feel way better
now, when i am depressed i would love to hug someone (not my parents) but i am scared to ask. and because they will think i am weird

No, it's not weird at all. A hug can make a big difference in someone's life. I love hugs, both giving and getting them.

I don't think it is weird but it depends who you ask. I wouldn't go up to random people and ask for a hug.
I think it is best to ask a person for a hug, because they may not like to give hugs or they may have personal boundaries that you would be braking if you were to just give them a hug.
So if you need a hug, go ahead and ask.
I ask my friends for hugs and they always seem to make me feel better.

No, i don't think this is weird at all, if you know the person who you ask for a hug then there is no problem, especially if they are a close friend who you feel you can share things with. I'd probably say it was weird if you asked a random person on the street though!!!

Nope you are not weird just ask your closest friend or someone you know cares about you. If you are really upset your parents should be the first people you ask. I would love it if my daughter came up and hugged me. Hugs do make you feel better kinda like knowing someone cares for you and is there for you.

no not at all most people would like to give more hugs but dont want to cross the line with peoples personal space...its perfectly normal and ok to ask for hugs ...I just hold my arms out and if someone wants a hug they just get one...the funny thing is they want them as well and feel the same way..I see the teens at school hugging all the time so dont feel strange...hugs to u :)

No, its not weird at all. One of the problem we have today is that we are afraid to show any kind of emotion and ask for some affection when we are at a low point in our life or day. So go ahead and ask and if anyone say its weird just tell them wake-up and get a life.

If they are your friends, they won't think you're weird, but if they're random acquaintances you barely know, I probably wouldn't ask for a hug, because that would be the height of weirdness.

its not weird but u have to ask someone that will kno how u feeling and also not feel weird to giv u a hug..its natural to want to be hugged wen u feeling down
