Can you use a debit card to buy things online? Usually it just says credit card, but can you just put in your debit card number? Will it work?

Yes, a debit card works just like a credit card. The difference is that the bank will take the money directly out of your account when the charge comes through.

You usually can. But a debit card doesn't have the same legal protections that a credit card has, so it's better to use a credit card if you have one.

Yes. It has the logo and the same number of digits as a regular credit card. Just make sure you have enough cash in the account when you use it, because it sucks the money right out.

If your debit card has a Visa or Mastercard logo on it, you should have no problems using it.

And, there are protections (from your bank) that are akin to credit card protections, so charge away!

Oh yeah. I've done it plenty of times. As long as it has the CC logo, then you can. Like others have said though, make sure you what something in there cause they will suck it out. Sometimes almost immediately.
