Dude,that really sucks!
I would say like everyone else go to a vet--also try for your carpet and furniture, what I used was Advanced Indoor Insect Spray by Zodiac. We had 5 cats that were COVERED in fleas and this stuff worked pretty well. It doesn't say anything about the animals having to be a certain age but if I were you I wouldn't spray it on them, just to be certain. The spray provides 7 months of protection by preventing eggs from hatching, it's for fleas, ticks and even cockroaches. It's for flea infestation, which is what we had, and it can cover up to 2,000 Sq Ft. It kills adult fleas Flea eggs Flea Larvae and ticks. we had to use it a few times before it started kicking in but we never had to buy more then one bottle. I think you should be able to find it in any pet stores and I got it in Tractor Supply Co. Also look for Adam's flea spray that works well too. And I'm not sure the age limit but the best thing to put right on the animals are Front-Line. We don't have much money but in order to get rid of the fleas on thier bodies that's what we had to use! Good Luck . Having fleas can be a real big pain!

Hi,one of the very best flea treatments available is called "Frontline" it's recommended by vets and you can buy it over the counter from any vets,3 months supply is around £20 and worth every penny.I have used this on my kitten for 4 months now and since then he has not had a single flea on him.I also use "Bob Martins flea bombs" to get rid of the fleas in my home these too have been very effective.

Fleas on animals are a problem in most parts of the US. You need to do two things: first, keep the animals as free of fleas as possible, by using insecticides such as Frontline or Advantage (both available from veterinarians, but expensive). Second, keep the household free of fleas: if you walk across the floor (especially a carpeted one) wearing white socks, and see fleas jumping onto the socks, the house must be fumigated; fumigants are available at pet and home supply stores.

Get treatment from a vet i.e Frontline, Advantage, Revolution or Advocate. Make sure the stuff gets on your cat's skin, not her fur. Sorted.
Stay away from ALL pet store products - not only do they not work, many are dangerous. People on here have already named two of the most dangerous - Zodiac and Bob Martin. I've known plenty of cats die from Bob Martin. You've been warned!
