If the sky were to open up and The Lord were to appear and say worship me your God Creator of the universe. Would you bow down on your knees and give praise to him?

Yes, that's what I'd consider good evidence.

I am a believer however I feel that there will be many who would worship Him if this were to occur. I'd like to share a joke about an atheist and a shark:

Shark!

There is this atheist swimming in the ocean. All of a sudden he sees a shark in the water, so he starts swimming furiously towards his boat.

As he looks back, he sees the shark turn and head towards him. He's scared to death, and as he sees the jaws of the great white beast open, revealing its horrific teeth, the atheist screams, "Oh God! Save me!"

In an instant, time is frozen and a bright light shines down from above. The man is motionless in the water when he hears the voice of God say, "You are an atheist. Why do you call upon me when you do not believe in me?"

Confused, and knowing he can't lie, the man replies, "Well, that's true I don't believe in you, but how about the shark? Can you make the shark believe in you?"

The Lord replies, "As you wish," and the light retracts back into the heavens. The man feels the water move once again.

As the atheist looks back, he can see the jaws of the shark start to close down on him, when all of sudden the shark stops and pulls back.

Shocked, the man watches as the huge beast closes its eyes, bows its head and says, "Thank you Lord for this food which I am about to receive..."

I think you're missing the point. The reason we don't believe is because nothing even remotely similar to that ever happens. There is and never has been anything providing evidence that any god exists. If there was, then we would be forced to accept it and the existence of a god or gods. We are logical people. If irrefutable proof was offered, we'd accept it. Would we praise him her or it? That's another story, and can only be answered by the individual. Myself, I don't think I would. Why would I offer praise to this being just because he she or it demands it? If it was all-powerful, and wanted me to praise it, wouldn't I be praising it already?

No, praise is something that is earned. Opening the sky and barking orders does not impress me. If anything, I'd have a list of questions to be answered before I would consider this god to be Worthy of praise.

That is often overlooked in the debate about "faith" and why God desires it. People often assume that if you accept the "facts" about something that that is enough. But God is looking for more than just having you believe he exist. He also wants you to believe that he rewards those who seek his will. Hebrew 11:6 states it like this: "Those who come to God most not only believe that he exist, but that he is rewarder of those who follow him."

Most of us believe that GW Bush is the President. But not everyone in the country automatically agrees with everything Bush supports or follows his policies. Just know that it is the President does not automatically make you support or follow him. Knowing that God exist would not automatically make people follow him.

So instead, God has ask for the heart first, not the head. He ask that you begin the relationsip with him by loving him and by seeking his will. Once he has the heart, the head comes along for free. But if he only gets the head - but not the heart - he has nothing.

No, because I don't believe that a God really wants anyone to bow down to them. I would more than likely accept that he/she was the Creator.

No! Because the REAL CREATOR of the universe & HIS SON have NAMES! cf. Prov.30:4 "Do you know the NAME of the FATHER & of HIS SON?" CLUE: The bible wouldn't have asked the question if they didn't already know that the people of the earth would be deceived from knowing the TRUE NAME, cf, Rev. 12:9; satan has the entire religious world deceivced!!! The scriptures do say thought, that when the SON OF YAHWEH OUR CREATOR, YAHSHUA MESSIAH appears in the clouds, that every knee shall bow & that every tongue shall confess that YAHSHUA MESSIAH is our SAVIOR!!! iN THE PRECIOUS NAME & AUTHORITY OF OUR FATHER YAHWEH!!! If you don't even know HIS NAME then satan will be able to get you to worship a false god!!! Get it right & LIVE!!!

I'd have to ask him "Are you the dude those Christians were talking about?"If he says "yes"Naturally I would have to accept the existence.I could never worship such a despicable creature as the Christian god.Somehow,If that scenario ever played out,I am quite sure I would get a jolly laugh from him about "those silly christians"and a "come on in bro"from a TRUE god

well for all you blasphemed the name of God our Father in heaven and creator of this universe and of you and me you will bow down and confess that He is Lord but by that time it will be too late for you to worship and accept Him that will be at the judgment and you will be tossed into the lake of fire with your father the devil so if you don't want to believe in the Lord then you can just go to hell then its your choice

Firstly, I be like "is everyone else seeing this?" If yes, I'd consider the believing (not necessarily the praising) part. If no I would take myself off to the nearest psychiatric hospital for intensive shock therapy!

no i would find a way to destroy the barbaric adulterous murdering freak by enlisting the help of THOR and Superman and The Incredible Hulk and any number of other fictitious characters because if god crawls out of a fictitious story then all other fictitious characters will be alive too.

Santa is returning soon, are you prepared?!
