Well, it seems to for the most part. Or perhaps it is because if you have a real sense of humor about religion, and you are not offensive about it, you can make money by writing or performing. See, for a good example, "Beam Me Up, Jesus: A Heathen's Guide to the Rapture," by Jim Gerard.
Oh, wait, he's a heathen. Well, how about the movies "Dogma" or "What Dreams May Come"? Both were made by Christians. Catholics, in fact.
Maybe it's only evangelicism that sucks the sense of humor out of a person.

Because this is Religion and Spirtuality, not Jokes and Limmericks.
I tell you what, go to the Math section or Science section and try hitting them with a joke and you'll find out just what stiffs the Academia are!
Go to the open microphone at a Richard Dawkins college lecture and hit him with a joke and see how well received it is...
Obviously we have our long sought answer.

Thats true. But cant a believer have a sense of humour.
I come here for the laughs...but the level of seriousness here really bores me but at times i cant help but answer....until athiests come around that is. =D

Not really, There are funny Muslims and Christians, but they do not dare to make fun of things they believed true.
Pagans and Wiccan, however, are as funny as atheists, because they are more open minded and can accept any possibilities.
