I need help with my spanish!?

Hi all
I need help with my Spanish. I'm just having this class tomorrow and I have to write some sentences with some verbs. I need help with my sentences because our lovely professor did not give us any clue what do these verbs mean and what is their usage, so would you please help me with writting my sentences?
here are the verbs and my snetneces:
- calentar : yo caliento la comida para cena
- cerrar : el cierra la puerta de la casa.
-sentar: siento y espero el autobus
-sentir: se siente cansado
- comenzar: zomienzen a estudiar para el examen
- contar: cuentes tu dineros porque deseas comprar zapatos nuevos.
- Acostar: Acostamos porque somos cansados
-colgar: cuelgan los cuadros
-recordar: recuerdo comprar unas zanahorias para la sopa.
- Acordar: os acordais a estudiar
-volar: volamos de Barcelona a madrid

Let's go over your sentences and point out the errors.
There's a problem with using some of these verbs
reflexively.
1. calentar= to heat up or warm up. Caliento la comida
para la cena. Remember the old song, "Cuando
calienta el sol"?
2. cerrar = to close. Your sentence is OK.
Cerrar can also mean to lock.
3. sentar means to seat someone.
Ella sienta su niño travieso en el rincón.
She's seating her naughty child in the corner.
If you want to say: I'm sitting and waiting for the bus
you have to use sentarse.
Me siento y espero el autobus.
Sentirse = to feel. Se siente cansado. OK
comenzar = to begin. Comienzan a estudiar
para el examen. OK, except comiencen should
be comienzan. Comiencen is subjunctive.
contar= to count or to tell(e.g., a story)
The sentence should read Cuentas tu dinero
porque deseas comprar zapatos nuevos.
acostar= to put someone to bed
Ella acuestra su bebé.
She's putting her baby to bed.
For "going to bed" the verb must be reflexive:
acostarse. Nos acostamos porque somos cansados.
colgar = to hang. Cuelgan los cuadros. OK
recordar= to remember. OK
acordar= to agree. No acuerdan con el contrato
They don't agree with the contract.
acordarse = to remember. OK
volar = to fly. OK

I will "rewrite" a little bit your sentences because some of them doesn't sound good:

Yo caliento la comida para "la" cena.
sentarse (to have a sit): Me siento (en un banco) y espero el autobús.
Sentirse: Él se siente cansado.
Comiencen a estudiar para el examen
Tú cuentas tu dinero porque quieres comprarte unos zapatos nuevos.
Acostarse: Nos acostamos porque estamos cansados.
Recordar means "to remind" : Recuérdame comprar unas zanahorias para la sopa.
Acordarse means "to remember" Os acuerdais de la tienda nueva de mi barrio?
Volar - to fly : Volamos de Barcelona a Madrid en dos hotas y media.

I'm Uruguayan and the accents and pronunciation is specific among them .Argentinian and Uruguayan Spanish are very identical however Argentinian tone is specific and a few specific grammar ,I uncover it alright to talk to a Mexican however to anyone from Spain I don't have any concept methods to comprehend what they are saying in any respect

your sentences are mostly okay exept for two that you missed a word or used it in the wrong tense. i fixed them for you:


contar: cuentas tu dinero porque deseas comprar zapatos nuevos.

acostar: nos acostamos porque estamos cansados.

acordar: estoy de acuerdo con ella.
