Dogs are pack animals are were derived from wolves thousands of years ago.

They have an instinct to eat grass when their stomach is upset. They know this will simulate them to vomit.

If you dog is doing this often and for extended periods of time, there is something in his/her environment that is irritating the dogs stomach.

I would look at his food first. Dogs have allergies like people do and the puppy can not get along with something in the food.

Try IAMS puppy. I have found great success with this commercially available brand.

It will not hurt your dog to eat grass, it's an instictive reaction from your puppy.

I hope this helps

Yes, it's normal for a puppy/dog to eat grass. Just make sure you don't have any fertilizers on your grass. Sometimes dogs will eat grass to settle their stomach. Other times, as with my puppy, they will just pull it up and shake it, just for play.

it is okay! when a dogs stomach is upset they eat the grass to induce vomitting to help relieve their upset stomach. it is natural to them. just don't let them eat to much.

Not only do they eat it because they have an upset tummy, but mine did it when she had worms. So, I would get that checked.
