1 thing i have wondered
sure the blind can experience the other effects of the drug
but what do the blind SEE(im talking blind from birth, NEVER had sight) when taking acid or mushrooms or other drugs that cause visual hallucinations
is this something that people with sight will ever even know? (well, until brain reading tech is available)
it would be like explaining color to the blind...but in reverse

Your question implies that hallucinations have something to do with sensory organs. I once covered my eyes to see if the hallucinations would stop, no luck. It's simply a question of what is seen in the mind. Deaf people can have auditory hallucinations because they are not actually hearing anything, the brain just thinks it is. It's not much different with a blind person and visual hallucinations. The fact that the blind can't associate those hallucinations with real world objects is where the difference lies.

When placed in a sensory deprivation environment, I lose it because all I am left with are the hallucinations.

interesting concept. I wish there was a study to read about since this is an interesting topic. I would guess they would experience similar close eyed visuals anyone else would. I bet it would be an amazing experience for someone that has never been able to see. How able the effects on a def person?

Hm. it fairly is an relatively ngood question. I presume that folk who're blind from beginning does not journey seen hallucinations, as that section ofntheir innovations gasoline no longer more suitable via fact it fairly is not in any respect been used. yet i assume a individual who grew to alter into blind faster or later are able to journey seen hallucinations. yet those are in straightforward terms my speculations, i do no longer ok ow for specific.
