One person in particular says that Catholics are going to hell and he is the only one saved

So does this person think he is God and allowed to judge, where is the love from this person all I see is disrespect for Christians?

CJ, you use the same gospel the Catholic Church compiled if ours is false so is yours(and yours more so because you interpret it yourself)

As long as we're talking about what is "elementary to true believers", the Pharisees among us should take notes:

Heb. 9:12 - Christ's sacrifice secured our redemption, but redemption is not the same thing as salvation. We participate in and hope for salvation. Our hope in salvation is a guarantee if we are faithful to Christ to the end. But if we lose hope and fail to persevere, we can lose our salvation. Thus, by our own choosing (not by God's doing), salvation is not a certainty. While many Protestant churches believe in the theology of "once saved, always saved," such a novel theory is not found in Scripture and has never been taught by the Church.

Rom. 5:2 - we rejoice in the "hope" (not the presumptuous certainty) of sharing the glory of God. If salvation is absolutely assured after accepting Jesus as Savior, why would Paul hope?

Philippians Chapter 1
27Whatever happens, conduct yourselves in a manner worthy of the gospel of Christ. Then, whether I come and see you or only hear about you in my absence, I will know that you stand firm in one spirit, contending as one man for the faith of the gospel 28without being frightened in any way by those who oppose you. This is a sign to them that they will be destroyed, but that you will be saved—and that by God. 29For it has been granted to you on behalf of Christ not only to believe on him, but also to suffer for him, 30since you are going through the same struggle you saw I had, and now hear that I still have.

1 Peter 3:14
14But even if you should suffer for what is right, you are blessed. "Do not fear what they fear; do not be frightened."

1 Peter Chapter 4
12Dear friends, do not be surprised at the painful trial you are suffering, as though something strange were happening to you. 13But rejoice that you participate in the sufferings of Christ, so that you may be overjoyed when his glory is revealed. 14If you are insulted because of the name of Christ, you are blessed, for the Spirit of glory and of God rests on you. 15If you suffer, it should not be as a murderer or thief or any other kind of criminal, or even as a meddler. 16However, if you suffer as a Christian, do not be ashamed, but praise God that you bear that name.

PS people who just cut and paste scrpture get on my nerves ;)

Jeremiah 32:35 States that God finds it detestable to burn people.... so the bible does not teach that hell exisits. If your child broke a glass would you beat him for 12 months? The bible states God is love 1 john 4:8 and a God of love would not torture some one forever

I take lttle notice of little Hitlers of religion and can understand why Atheists are put of by such as these,it seems people like this spend more time in hatred on here than they do showing the love and compassion of Christ.
Self appionted judges such as these will indeed face the judgement of Christ themselves for sinning against the command to love thy neighbor, so I usually pray for them.

CJ, pride comes before a fall. A "true believer" would know that.

The Bible also says that the measure that you use for others will be used for you. If I were CJ, I would really worry.

Anytime you hear ANY human claiming that so and so is going to hell, it is ignorance. Only God is the supreme judge and only he knows what each and every person is going through, what made him sin, etc. Humans can't possibly judge other humans fairly.

The wages of sin is death, not life in torment

(Romans 6:23) For the wages sin pays is death, but the gift God gives is everlasting life by Christ Jesus our Lord.

The dead rest unconscience in hell., hades, sheol. Awaiting a resurrection.

(Psalm 89:48) What able-bodied man is there alive who will not see death? Can he provide escape for his soul from the hand of She´ol? Se´lah.

(John 5:28-29) Do not marvel at this, because the hour is coming in which all those in the memorial tombs will hear his voice 29 and come out, those who did good things to a resurrection of life, those who practiced vile things to a resurrection of judgment.

(John 11:24-25) Martha said to him: “I know he will rise in the resurrection on the last day.” 25 Jesus said to her: “I am the resurrection and the life. He that exercises faith in me, even though he dies, will come to life;

(Revelation 20:13-14) And the sea gave up those dead in it, and death and Ha´des gave up those dead in them, and they were judged individually according to their deeds. 14 And death and Ha´des were hurled into the lake of fire. This means the second death, the lake of fire.

Don't worry about it we are all going to hell.
Hell is just the bibles name for the grave.
Hell the way religion teaches it is just false man made doctrine.

Yeah, and the looney bin's full of people who think they're Julius Caesar.
Why pay attention to any of 'em...whether they're locked up or still running around loose?
