Such a lovely attempt at perverting Scriptures and taking them out of context!

John 1:18 (KJV) says: "No man hath seen God at any time; the only begotten Son, which is in the bosom of the Father, he hath declared him."

No man has seen God, and that is why Jesus came - to reveal God to us. Remember, Jesus said "When you've seen me, you've seen the Father."

Furthermore, the very beginning of that chapter states categorically in John 1:1-5 (KJV), "In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. (2) The same was in the beginning with God. (3) All things were made by him; and without him was not any thing made that was made. (4) In him was life; and the life was the light of men. (5) And the light shineth in darkness; and the darkness comprehended it not."

So, this tells me that because you don't recognize Jesus for Who He claimed to be, you are still in darkness.

But don't stop there. Let's finish this thought down in Vs 14: "And the Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us, (and we beheld his glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father,) full of grace and truth."

The Word, that was God, became Jesus.

So, why do you fight against God's Word? Don't you know that you can not fight against God or His Holy Spirit?

Of course, I could also go to the Old Testament and point out the Tri-une nature of God there, also, but this is enough to convince any HONEST heart!

Jesus the Christ is as close as we get to seeing God. He is the Branch of God. The Bible also says that God is Spirit and a consuming fire. If you see Father God you will burn up immediately because it says He is a consuming fire. The God within us is the Holy Spirit which is also a portion of God.

The Bible tells us when we die the body returns to dust and the spirit returns to God who gave it. So within man we also have a portion of God.

We believe in the Trinity because God is not limited to One part. The Bible mentions the Father God, the Son Jesus the Christ and the Holy Spirit. The Bible mentions that all authority in heaven and in the earth has been given to the Son by the Father. The Son Jesus says, "The Father and I are One."

This is where we get the Trinity.

If you take the time to read that scripture (John 1:18), the word for seen is the Greek word "horaō", which means to have a complete understanding or preception of something. The Bible does not say that no one has ever "look at" God. In facts, there are over 100 incidences of people physically seeing God in the Bible. Rather it is saying that no one on their own has every had a complete understanding of God and who he is.

The verse them goes on to say, "No one has ever seen God, but God the One and Only, who is at the Father's side, has made him known." Since no one can understand or "see" god on his own, God the Son himself came in human form so he could tell us about him.

That is why we know about the Trinity and all the other things about God. He came himself and revealed them.

Stating that no man has seen God does not mean that God hasn't revealed himself (non-visually) to man.

On the contrary Bible clearly speaks of God revealing Himself to man, in terms of knowledge and contact.

To see God you would have to be in heaven which is unreachable for man alone! Only your soul will make it to paradise! You have to be prepared and saved to see him. We have seen the son of God here on earth. He has a part of God with him as should you. The Holy Spirit is always here to comfort us and to be a active force to do God's will. Those THREE make up the God Head! Serving one purpose which is to save all mankind from there own demise.

Just like you believe every other thing the bible says Read it and it will tell you God exits in three persons: THe Father, Son and Holy spirit.

And as far as the person who said Abraham and Jacob met God, They met the "angel of the Lord".

3) to see, i.e. become acquainted with by experience, to experience

4) to see, to look to

a) to take heed, beware

b) to care for, pay heed to

5) I was seen, showed myself, appeared

The very first definition is 'see with the eyes'

How is it used in the bible?

AV — see 51,
take heed 5,
behold 1,
perceive 1,
not tr 1

only 6 times is it use as to heed, or preceive.

Of the 100 times people claimed to see God, can be liken to the experience at Judges 13:21,22

"21 And Jehovah’s angel did not repeat appearing to Ma·no´ah and his wife anymore. Then it was that Ma·no´ah knew that he had been Jehovah’s angel. 22 Consequently Ma·no´ah said to his wife: “We shall positively die, because it is God that we have seen.” "

To the faithful Jews seeing a representative of Jehovah was like seeing God.

Trinitarians have taken this bible custom and carried it one step further,

Instead of recognizing Jesus as the 'Spokesman' of God,

They have elevated him to being God.

Something Jesus never claimed.
Something John never taught.

Rev. 1:6 the apostle John tells us about the God and Father of Jesus, the beginning of the creation by God.

Because according to the Bible, God is the Father and also the Father of Jesus, the Son. When we are saved, the Holy Spirit (who is both God and Jesus), live within us to keep us from doing wrong.

Wrong. The apostle John, and the Prophet Elijah both went to heaven and had to be given special treatment (eating a small scroll) to enable them to return to Earth as men.
