You should wash it with every stain-removing chemical you can to see if it is a permanent stain or not. If you sell it on Ebay then you can have an even better writeup--you tried washing it thoroughly and the stain is permanent...and Jesus' face shaped. That might tend to add credence to your claim of a divinely-stained sheet, plus it might remove some of the forensic evidence, just in case a museum buys it.

Nobody has the faintest idea of what Jesus looked like. The paintings made by Italian and Dutch painters were strictly from their imaginations .
No one who lived at the time of Jesus ever described him . No one ever made a drawing of him . We have no idea of any of his features . So , anything somewhat resembling a human face could be whoever you want it to be .

You should try to wash the stain away. If you can't remove it, then you should get it valued.

Is it from "love stains" or another kind?
Either way, put it up on ebay. (though if it is "love stains" then you may be able to get more out of it from religious perverts.)

Catholics will be lining up for days to take a gander. The stain will get washed off with all the "holy water" being splashed on it.

Lemur,
I suggest taking it to a laundry or "cleaner". They can give you an "estimate" if you want one. Have a great weekend.
Thanks,
