I would not get too excited over this.
Bloody diarrea is common in dogs as we all know. This can be anything from worms to parvo. Worms, no big deal, parvo a real big deal. And there is everything in the middle.
If you dog had all of the shots, you can probably rule out Parvo.
Keep in mind that Hook worms and I beleive Round Worms can cause bloddy diarrea. How long has it been since your dogs were wormed and do they come in contact with other dogs or the surrounding of other dogs?
I would most certainly take the pooch to the vet, but I'd be willing to bet this has nothing to do with bones you gave the dog. The diarrea is what makes me think this; unless the dog swallowed sharp pieces of the bone fragments.
I hope this helps.

Golly, pooping blood wouldn't be normal for a dog would it? I heard once that the reason blood is bright red is so people wouldn't ignore it, but would notice it right away and do something to stop it from coming out of the body because blood belongs inside a body not outside. You know, if I was concerned about a training method for my dog, I might ask that question here on DS. If, however, I was concerned about blood coming out of my dog, I might ask that quesion of DVM - and I would ask it very quickly as well. What do you think of just giving the vet a ring about this? .Seems like an appropriate thing to me.

Well, what is normal procedure when an animal is sick? VETS!!
If this is related to the bone eating, it could well be a splinter of the bone has perforated the dog's gut and she's bleeding out. Find out which one has the problem SOON, because whatever the cause, you need to get to a vet asap.

It sounds as if the bone might have splintered and your dog swollowed it. If there is a piece of bone in the intestine, diahrrea and blood would be two symptoms. Having a large amount of meat might cause the loose stool, but shouldn't cause the blood. I would recommend holding them off of food and taking both to the vet. Waiting to separate them and see which it is may take to long and be too late.

Take the one to the vet if you can quickly confirm which one it is and the other has NO problems, it could be an obstruction and deadly. Vet may feel for it but will likely xray. Dogs should have a yearly vet check anyway so if both dogs have not been within the last year both should be taken in for general exams.

TAKE THEM BOTH TO THE VET. YOU NEVER GIVE AYOUR DOGS A BONE ! ESPECIALLY CHICKEN BONES THEY CAN SPLINTER INSIDE THEIR STOMACH. AN ANIMAL'S STOMACH CAN'T DIGEST BONES ANY EASIER THAN YOURS CAN.
