Yeah, i realize its a lil thin in the corners... thank you genetics on that one haha.... but its senior year so why not try a shag or something like that...my girlfriend wants me to and what can i say...im whipped...haha but i have no idea how to grow a shag hair cut... id like to but i have no idea how... can somebody give me some help here? or does my hair not work for a shag? i guess my main concern is do i need to cut my hair into layers or somethin crazy like that or just let it grow out? also, like the part of my hair closer to my scalp is soft and all but the top never gets as soft no matter what... any suggestions? thanks!

You will want layers for a shaggy look - but you already have them!!! Yeah!! One thing out of the way. Just start growing your hair. At some point you may feel like you are starting to get a little mullet like as the back takes off - go get this trimmed up and let the rest of your hair catch up. If your sides start to get a little poofy - have them thinned out while you are getting the back trimmed up. But for now, just let it grow

I wish I could show you my hair. Your probably too young to remember Rosanna Danna on Saturday Nite Live. I have a wilder version myself.
Just let your hair grow. You have to get all the layers out then blow it with a blow dryer.
