Starting from the Atlantic time zone in eastern Canada, as we head east towards the UK, every time zone change adds an extra hour on to the Atlantic time zone. Depending on where you are in Canada, you would have to adjust your time accordingly---

We would need to know where in Canada he is leaving from as we have 5 different time zones and flights are shorter from the east coast as opposed to the west coast by a matter or hours. Need more details.
