Sorry, I don't think there are any real good ways 2 get rid of it, it kinda has to run it's course. Every time I drink, I wonder why I did this to myself also. Each time I swear I'll never drink again........lol. And then there's always that next time, and I say it all over again. The last time I tried to drink a lot of water, and it made me very dizzy, so I don't know if I'd drink a ton of it. Maybe tea or coffee?? Not sure. Hope ya feel better soon.

Oh god you really are asking for trouble asking that on here. no your baby will be fine but there is no guarantee regarding long term effects, learning disabilities etc, 20 years ago alcohol was not banned for pregnant women and all my relatives had the occasional glass of wine whilst pregnant and both my parents, aunts, uncles, cousins etc were all born fine!!! Alcohol is now banned for pregnant women because a lot of women do not know what 'in moderation' means and drink too much during pregnancy which can harm the child, this is why there are now signs at the back of wine/beer bottles showing a pregnant woman with a line through the picture. There have been many studies with pregnant women and alcohol and it does show that even a glass of alcohol has an effect on the fetus, it's a bit like giving a baby a glass of wine as the alcohol gets into your bloodstream and obviously the baby absorbs everything you do. Heavy drinkers will end up having a baby with FAS or other defects including possible stillbirth all studies regarding the occasional drink have been inconclusive but they have a suspicion that it may have a long term effect on the child's mental development. Your baby will be fine but, please stop drinking alcohol whilst pregnant as it could have long term effects on the baby....just a few more months to wait.

Can you nap until noon, that helps! You could just start drinking again, that always works (JUST KIDDING!). I'm afraid a couple of Ibprofens, a hot bath with a warm washcloth over your face, and atlteast a 3 hour nap may be the only solution. Can you call off work or postpone your plans for the day? Next time, only have 2 glasses, TOPS! Wine is infamous for headaches, that's why I avoid it. Stick with a couple of mixed drinks and make sure that they put no more than a shot of liquor. I feel for you. Hangovers suck. However, we are grown ups and we do know better, so it's hard to find sympathy.

Water is liable to make you feel drunk all over again and you'll feel hung over at noon. Listen To Marroll!!
DRY TOAST (can't take credit for the suggestion Marroll, a lady a few answers after mine suggested it, and I forgot about it Dry toast ) (do not take Tylenol as you could still have some of the wine in your system!) Follow with a nap. Upon arising have a cup of coffee eat something, drink a large glass of weak tea or weak juice. You'll feel a bit better, and a lot better by noon.

Funny you should ask this...I just posted a question about drinking and how much I do it...so I have had hundreds of hangovers.
Throw up first if you have to. This will get any leftover poison out of your stomach.
Then...go brush your teeth. The minty cleaness in your mouth makes you feel better.
Take 2 Excederins. Not Tylenol or whatever. Has to be something with lots of caffeine...it will open up your arteries and let the blood flow as well as taking your headace away if you have one.
If you have to be better by noon...get up and move around now...don't lay around in bed...it will take you longer to feel better if you just lay around.
Eat some light foods to get nourishment back in your system.
Drink gatorade or o.j. to replenish your fluids which the alcohol sucked from your body.
GET OUTSIDE AND BREATH LOTS OF FRESH AIR. DEEP BREATHS IN AND OUT. Just keep moving around and try to forget that you are hungover.
Was it red wine? That makes you sicker than white wine in my opinion. I get severely sick on red wine.
I hope you found your dog. And I hope you feel better soon. You truly have my sympathy!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Drink a lot of water, plain no ice. Eat a little of something very plain, like bread or dry cereal. Try not to take any pills, but if your stomach calms down enough, try a tyllenol or motrin. Try to take a small nap and restart your day with hot shower that's cold at the end. I hope you feel better soon!

4 glasses isn't very much but did you eat anything? The reason why you get a bad hang over is if you are dehydrated and alcohol dehydrates you because your body uses up all your fluids washing it out of your system. Drink water, it helps, seriously! Your body loves it...and it needs it right now.
In future stay dehydrated by drinking a glass of water to each glass of alcohol and make sure you eat.

Mmm.. No way to really get over a hang over, but I can give you a couple tips on how to not get a hang over after drinking for the future :P
1. This one is less effective but meh, trying eating sunflower seeds before bed, they help you sober up a bit.
2. Drink some water before bed, it keeps you hydrated, which lowers the chances of getting a hang over!

Drink a lot of water so you can throw up and get it out of your system, I hate it too but it works plus you need to stay hydrated. Take a long warm shower.. Don't drink as much the next time you obviously have a low tolerance

From the Smirnoff Vodka Bartender's Book AND REALLY WORKS!!! Eat a piece of DRY toast. Wait 20 minutes before putting anything else in your stomach. The toast absorbs the contents of your stomach. (toxins) I did it (12 shots of tequila-cha cha cha) and it worked GREAT! (I'm not a drinker...)
Good luck!
