My indoor cat has a spot above his nose?

that is not oozing; it does not seem to itch; but it has been slowly enlarging over the past couple of weeks. There are hairs growing thru this spot. It is currently about 1/2 inch in diameter and flat. I don't know whether to be concerned or not. I can email a photo if provided an email address. Thank you for any help.

Don't bother showing US what it looks like - show a vet! It's kind of what they're there for, to cure illness and injuries in animals. This could be an abscess, or any kind of growth, or maybe just an insect bite. Vets!
