I quote the Bible to give my source. Other Christians such as myself appreciate bible verses so that we ourselves can look it up and read it for ourselves. You need not look up the helpful verse if you are to blind to accept as fact the word of God. Just pass on by to the next question, one that makes sense to you.

consistent with various the present questions, i might say that concept is what you think of is genuine. faith is what you concept without being particular. Blind faith is faith without good evidence. Reliability is a obscure concept and so there is no frustrating line between faith and blind faith. some faith is greater blind, some is far less blind. Atheists many times (i can't generalize completely because of the fact there is no atheistic doctrine or determination of ideals, that's defined by way of the only concept that God does not exist) dodge blind faith as much as achieveable. extremely atheists do their ideal to place their faith in what reason and evidence shows is the fact. yet that doesn't advise that blind faith isn't rampant. possibly that's.

My faith is not blind. We quote Bible verses because it is the source of what we believe. Most Christians do not believe simply because the Bible says so. Send me a message if you would like the full story of why I believe in Christianity.

Jesus spoke in parables. The unbelieving did not believe or understand Jesus either. They would rather believe the lies of Satan.
Now, to answer your question. Christians believe that the Bible is the inspired word of God. What ever God says is TRUE!
This is why we Christians quote the Bible.
We know that we cannot change anyone. It is God that does the changing.
We quote the Bible so that we plant seeds, so that one day you may believe.
Since I answered your question, I would like for you to answer mine with truth from your heart.
If what you call a fairy tail is really true, why are you taking a chance and condemning yourself?
Faith is only for the believers. Everyone else condemns what they do not understand or fear.

"outrageous fairytale"
with an attitude towards a logical discussion like that, no wonder you are only met with cliches.
PS. To any narrow minded Christians, "The Truth will set you free" so never be scared to share ideas, weigh them up, and develop your understanding of the Truth.

Because that is all they know. If they took a minute and understood what it was that they read and quoted, they may realize the error in the thinking, but that would take some free thinking and that is exactly what the church doesn't want.

Hello, Blessings and Peace.
I have experinced on countless occasion the false, circular logic of the Christian tribe.
Now it is more of the case of hot debates between Christian Elders and Missionaries and myself, being a Manichaean.

Christian faith isn't blind. In fact you have to have your eyes and heart open to receive the faith to believe. Those who refuse to see God in the universe that He created are actually the blind ones. Am talking spiritual blindness here.

Blind?
It's not blind-it's based on faith!
Here ius how Biblical Christians believe:
Hebrews 11:1 (New International Version)
New International Version (NIV)
Copyright © 1973, 1978, 1984 by International Bible Society
Hebrews 11
By Faith
1Now faith is being sure of what we hope for and certain of what we do not see.
We go into our faith, with the hope of seeing the one who died for us, that we may live-our Savior, Christ Jesus!

That's unfortunate that you can't see it, because my faith sure isn't blind to me. I can see my beliefs very clearly. When you look at it as a "fairytale", it's not surprising that you are blind to it. You need to look past that fairytale image to see what God is really about.
