I cannot stand one more minute of Rachel Ray mixing stuff by hand with her rings on! YUK!! How about all of that DNA under there?? And that FLYING HAIR over, and in everything!! Paricles of matter all over her sleeves and in and over the food!

omg that's so funny!!! Thanks for letting me scream as well when I watch this guy on Australian cooking shows licking his fingers between touching the food! I also feel better now.

Well, looks like I am going to be the one to disagree. I personally love Rach! I am a mom and I cook with my rings on and I do not put an hair net om either and no one in my family has ever died or got sick. I have watched her show for years and she USED to take her ring off and lost it once so she quit. She washes her hands and it is spelled G E T not G I T I am not sure what paricles are but I would love to set down and have lunch or dinner with her, Oprah does and Oprah is the bomb!

I've never really noticed those things. But I watch to get new recipes, and the technique on how to make them. So I guess those things don't bother me, besides I don't wear a hair net while I cook at home. (Although I usually pull it back in a knot).
The show is based on how to cook, and techniques on which to use. Were not eating her food, so it shouldn't matter.

I never really thought of that, because if it was me making the dinner then it would be my DNA in the food and my family probably has my DNA all over them anyway. However she is really annoying me with "How bout that kids? "Were just going to put these kids in the hot tub" "What do you think about that kids dosent that smell great" I feel like she is insulting the audience when she calls them "kids". And everytime she has a guest on she constantly interupts them when they are talking, and she is loud and obnoxious. (Okay, now I feel better)

Who is she accually cooking for? Not you! Why are you all worked up about it? Do you have a hair net on when you cook? What kid of particles are on her clothes that are not on yours when you cook?? All the chefs on the food network NEVER have hairnets on!! Why is it just Rachel Ray?

Another thing that really bugs me are the chefs on TV, and there are several, that taste what they're making with a spoon, then stick the spoon back in the bowl and continue to use it! Why not just spit into the bowl? Sheesh!

Its a cooking show! She doesn't feed it to you does she! Do you wear a hair net and gloves when you cook food at home? I doubt it and if you do thats a little on the weird side! She shows you how to make food quick at home not in a resturant! So no it don't bother me at all!

I think she is one of the most irritating people on the planet. I can't watch her, but every night (almost) when I make a really good dinner that's actually healthy and that took me less than 30 minutes, I think of what a scam she's got going on, trying to convince people they need to buy her thousands of cookbooks!

Well yeah i can totally see your point. But she probably doesn't want to lose any of her rings. Sometimes she doesn't even wear them. But you don't have to be that technical about DNA and particles of matter.
