We do ask our pardon, if we do bother you. If a person is following Biblical princilples when talking to you, it should be without any pressure. When true Biblical Christians talk to a person, it should ONLY be out of Christian love for you & should NEVER be forced upon you, since Jeusus NEVER forced His message upon ANYONE.

WE want you to know what it is like to have a personal relationship with the Creator of the entire universe, & how great His love IS for you. If a person is trying to FORCE their beliefs upon you, THAT is NOT BIBLICAL, & we apologize.

If you don't want to listen to us, those of us, (& there are 10's of 1000's of us), who DO follow the Biblical model of witnessing, that is your choice-simply tell us you are not interested, & we will stop.

But PLEASE-don't judge all Christians solely based, on a few overly enthusiastic ones. We only want you to know the same joy that we do. We DO love you, otherwise we wouldn't WANT to talk to you.

I won't recant anything.

Believing in Jesus is a choice just like not believing. I guess the difference between us and them is that we don't go around spoon feeding Jesus to everyone. It is a good question however, because most Christians I know are always trying to "save" me.

The reason Christians believe in God is the same reason anyone believes in religion. They are scared S***less about the finality of death. Believing in Jesus, God, and Heaven gives them a reason to keep living. They just can't fathom the thought of a heaven-less existence. The thought of Heaven is much happier than the image of nothing but black.

You misrepresent the creationist place. right here quote is from the creationists internet site; "‘Darwin recanted on his deathbed’. a lot of human beings use this tale, initially from a woman desire. although, it relatively is almost in no way genuine, and there is not any corroboration from people who have been closest to him, even from Darwin’s spouse Emma, who never cherished evolutionary innovations. additionally, in spite of the fact that if genuine, so what? If a popular creationist recanted creation, might that disprove it? there is not any fee to this argument in spite of the fact that. "

Something to do with a status quo...dunno. All I know is that I was Christian once, and I swear by their God they're not gonna get me back to being a Christian....If I DO go back into religion, it'd be Buddhism...it's atheistic in nature, so I REALLY don't have to believe in any gods...and it's the most "right" religion that I know about...just my opinion...and who's to say that by converting "non-believers," that they might be converting Muslims/Jews/pagans/etc. from the WRONG god? Bad thing about religion is the disastrous possibility of having the Abraham-type God (fire and brimstone to all non-believers) as the only God..and no one has worshiped him/her/it you know? But that's not the reason I'm atheist....just ranting...hope this helps!! ^_^

I think thats a big assumption. Who says all christians think all atheists recant?!? I disagree.....people are unique and think various different things to each other....christians and atheists.

Who told you that? Such confessions are rare, and many deaths happen in an instant, not allowing much time for confession. (Mac Truck, for example?)

I don't think you would have posted this question if you truly wanted to be left alone, but that is just a guess. God bless you, and good luck!

on my deathbed, I plan to become Buddhist. I don't want to go to a heaven covered in Christians all wanting to love me.

You may not have the fortune of having a deathbed with time to spare. You could just be sitting on your computer one day mocking us on yahoo answers when your house blows up and you never get a chance to recant. So we bother you now.
