You must be aware that the bible was made for man to live by. Although it contains a great deal about Jesus for us to know his back ground as a human, it is not a biography of Jesus.
To fill you in on what is known, and not in the bible,
Jesus was obedient to his parents, and lived and worked with them until Joseph passed on.
It is known that he learned and worked with wood as a carpenter. Not in the bible is the fact that Joseph became a trades man and traveled, taking Jesus with him to foreign countries. In his travels Jesus learned about the world and became very wise.
His primary interests were always about his heavenly fathers interests. He knew what his future was about, but waited until the proper time with the knowledge he gained to do his heavenly father's work.
You know the rest.
Why it isn't in the bible is because God didn't require it to be there. Jesus explained it all to those who needed to know, and it is, or was common knowledge during his life on earth.
Another example is the fact that >He< appears in public records of the time.......Provable then, but probably lost in time by now. You would need to know several foreign languages and have the ability to travel to access the archives in foreign countries.
You might find some interesting publications under "Jesus, the missing years"

No fact here, just suppostion.

At 13, He would have been able to help Joseph provide for the family and the younger children. When his ministry begins, Joseph is no longer present. As the oldest son, he must have been the head of the household after Joseph's death.

Did God wait til he was 30 to begin his ministry because there were younger children at home? So that he would be old enough to be a credible rabbi? Because it fit some part of God's plan with which we are not familiar?

No one knows.

There are thousands of ancient parchments of the 4 Gospels and the Epistles and the Dead Sea Scrolls give us parchments of the Old Testament which date to Jesus time. Before you believe anything not in the Book, do some independent research to find how old the source document is that it depends on. Don't buy anything which is not attested to by independent scientists as dating back to 100-200AD.

As you said, there is no Biblical or Historical record that tell us what Jesus did during that time frame. However, one can just speculate by his past life and by his future life. We know he had to make a living somehow and he was a Carpenter. Therefore, he must have spent some time learning carpentry and making a living out of that profession. Also, we now that he used to go to the temple. Jesus probably spent a lot of time in the temple or hanging out with scholars to learn or debate about the scriptures.

The Gospels tell us Jesus Christ lived in Egypt as a child, but do not tell us where he lived when he was growing up. It is all opinion and conjecture.
However, experts can surmise from the way Jesus Christ spoke...the images he conveyed in his speaking....that he was very familiar with agriculture. A great many of his parables are about farms, orchards, all types of planting. Parables involving agriculture and soil were very high on his list.
So, we can safely say that wherever he grew up, he was heavily exposed to agriculture. It wasn't a city. It most assuredly was the countryside.
Egypt is not known for agriculture, so it probably wasn't Egypt.
He may have grown up in the hill country, where there were vineyards. Galilee is considered hill country, so it is quite possible the answer is Galilee.

After Jesus was found in the temple scripture tells us that He returned with Joseph and Mary and was subject to them and grew in wisdom and stature.
In other words it was not the time ordained by the Father for Jesus to begin His ministry and so Jesus lived life of any normal boy and did nothing to attract attention to Himself or His Parents, and His first public miracle was at the wedding feast in Cana when He had matured to adulthood.
Jesus knew full well that when He performed His first public miracle then this was the beginning of the long road to Calvary, therefore it would not have been sensible to have done anything while very young as this would have had serious consequences for the whole plan of salvation.

No one can give you proof of anything. The whole thing about this mystery is that there is no real evidence of anything. People have different opinions, but it's hard to prove quite a few things in the Bible. I would wager that many people have an opinion of the location. For me, I always keep in mind that there were many people walking around claiming to be Messiah's in Jesus' time. So it could be hard to ever pinpoint the location based upon other Jesus types wandering around the fertile crescent.

The Church teaches that during the "missing years" of Jesus's childhood and early adulthood, He was busy growing up in Nazareth, with Joseph as His foster-father and Mary as His mother. He was probably doing the same things other Jewish boys His age were doing: learning the scriptures, going to temple, playing, working, etc.

Some of the so-called "gnostic" gospels, such as the Gospel of Thomas, have stories of Jesus as a child being sorta mischievous. Those were probably left out of the official cannon, because it scandalized people of weaker faith to think Jesus might have been a normal kid, getting into trouble, and learning right from wrong just like any other kid.

it will continue to be unknown to us....at least until Jesus comes back and we can ask him

from a tv program i saw, there are some possibilities...

1. he was with his father in Nazareth, working as a local carpenter...and going to the local synagogue to "grow in wisdom" on sabbath..he could have been in training to be a rabbi...30 years old is the age jewish men were considered prepared to minister as rabbis

2. there is a tradition that he traveled some with his uncle, joseph of aramathea, to england, and did carpentry there as well as trade....this is an english legend...there is a church there that is reported to be "not made with human hands"

Do you know that when you pass a message to one person...then that person pass it down to another person...What will happen if this happen up to a hundred people....what message does the last person get???
The Bible does not specify where or what time did every events happen...
It is not important to know all that, actually...what really matter are the teachings by Christ...Not all secrets are meant for everybody to know....!!!!
