Scientology: its a religion. mostly self-help courses
Isaac Hayes: a scientology member. he quit, apparently about the scientology segment on south park. South park is great but it tends to lose people that way. Christians, mormons, gays, handicapped. Eventually they step on the toes of anyone that works for them and forces them to decide whether they want to ignore it or not

I'm not sure about South Park, but Scientology is just a cult started by Sci-Fi writer L. Ron Hubbard, who at one time was a follower of Aleister Crowley. They use a system called "auditing" on their members, which is really just hypnosis.

and isaac hayes left because he cant take a joke. he claimed that they went too far with the scientology episode, however he never had a problem with the other episodes that poked fun at other religions, ie islam christianity, moromism etc. oh and by the way he i a scientologist

It is a religion made up by a Science Fiction writer, L. Ron Hubbard, on a bet with several other authors. He later "recanted" his invented religion but his son was making too much money to let go of it. You can find reliable confirmation of this on the web - sorry I'm too lazy to look it up and it's not important enough to me to keep the reference around. (Scientology has less than 1 million followers and any one dumb enough to be taken in by it probably deserves to be fleeced.)
