i see my boyfriend go to work everyday and get home tired every night. I finished college a few months ago and I want a job, but i haven't had the best luck w/ that! I've gone on a couple interviews, i actually got a call back on one, but nothing actually comes through. I want to help out with the bills and buy a car, but I can't do none of that without a job :(

if you have had interviews then your credentials must be good already. Just stick it out!!! I promise that with a bit of persistance, you will find a job.

I know that you may feel like you have to help you boyfriend out with the bills and everything, but you really don't. If it is out of your control whether or not you can be hired for a job, then the best thing you can do is something for your boyfriend. You said yourself that he works hard and maybe having breakfast for him right when he gets up or giving him a back massage after work. If he's feeling any anger with your not working, if you treat him well, they will go away. He'll be grateful for you and you won't feel like you have to work anymore, but it wouldn't hurt to keep looking. GOOD LUCK and I hope you find a job. My mom is going through the same thing.

Cleaing houses for people is a good job. You work your own hours. You can usually get as much work as you want and you are your own boss. I did that for years. I was able to have a decent income and buy the family presents and help with the bills too. I don't know where you live but where I live house cleaning starts at 10.00 an hour.

A college grad looking for a professional job should know better than to say "I can't do none of that....". I'm not trying to hurt your feelings - but possibly your grammar is holding you back.

Good luck.

OMFG, I HAVE THE SAME PROBLEM AS YOU!!! when i was 17, i tried applying eEVERYWHERE!!! and they stil wouldn't hire me, i'm now 18 and i applied again and they still didn't!!! what's wrong!!!

omfg... i think i know what's wrong now.... their hiring illegals over us.... they'd rather pay someone 4 bucks a hour than 7 bucks a hour, to someone who don't even pay for taxes and insurance and medical bills and drive stolen vehicles....
