I like that song.
You know, many contemplatives uncover an experience where there is in effect just one "real." Just one true. Just one actual.
And that one ... real, true, actual ... they very often name as Good or Bliss or Love.
So I am moved to offer this as a response to the question "Is all you need is love?":
All your need is Love.
All that you are is Love.
That fact that anything is is Love.
There's nothing that isn't that. Everything that is is that.

Digi, I think it is important when answering one of your questions, that the answerer steps outside his or her own beliefs, sits alone and thinks about the implications of the question.
Yes, all we need is love. Many of the responses here have focused on material needs, but the food of the soul is love. In fact, we don't need it to come to us. We are it already. I guess it is something we need to see that is within us and everyone else, and in so doing it will be manifested in the world.
For those who don't see the depth of this song, please look closer. :)

While I love the Beatles music, they are NOT who I go to for my theological truths.
What we NEED is to be saved from the penalty and power of sin. God has provided that FOR us thru the death, burial and resurrection of Christ as a FREE GIFT.
ALL we NEED, is to BELIEVE HIM, and God will do a work in us that makes us heaven bound...He places us INTO the church which is His Body...a LIVING entity.
What we lack. God has provided. He IS love.
