I was watching The Usual Suspects again last night and, given the innocent victims of Osama Bin Ladens' attacks, I believe we should eradicate both his and his families DNA from the planet.

You are all forgetting that innocent women and children were mass murdered for $.

Famous soundbites rejected by the family Bin Laden:

1) We are proud of our son.

2) $ is more important than Jihad.

3) Not only do we disapprove of Osama's activities but, more worryingly, the money we kept for him in trust has mysteriously disappeared.

4) Boys will be boys.

5) He is a good boy, he doesn't drink and he prays seven times a day.

Why the comparisons with Hitler?

A leader who killed himself when he knew he had lost his, and his nations war verses an active terrorist leader who has funded his activities through pharmaceuticals, oil and trading commodities futures.

Put the entire Bush and Bin Laden families into a locked room and leave them to fight it out. Unlock the door after four weeks and shoot anyone who comes out alive.

Next question, please.

Not only is your "idea" rediculous but i'm sure the Bush family, 2 presidents, would have something to say about it. Considering the 2 families are quite friendly. The only aircraft apart from military jet in the air above the US on the 12 sept were the aircraft hurrying the bin ladens out of the country. I don't think your "idea" would work

After the 9/11 attacks I wrote my congressman proposing this exact thing. Not because I think the family has faulty DNA or any crap like that, but because it would be a definite deterrent to future terrorism against the United States. Why would anyone risk the lives of his parents, siblings, aunts & uncles, and most especially his children to commit an atrocity like we witnessed on 9/11. I'm not claiming it's a proposal based in morality, but many fewer people would have died, and the economic cost would not be anywhere near the cost of the two wars we've fought in the name of fighting terrorism. Also I think it would be more effective. Nobody messes with the mob, do they?

EDIT: I think it's interesting that everyone thinks it's bad to kill members of the Bin Laden family, but how many of you opposed the bombing of innocent women and children in Afghanistan? You're hypocrites and you don't even realizze it. I didn't see any opposition to the bombings when it happened. If you all claim it was an atrocity, at least 92% of you are liars. Why didn't you speak out against it in 2001?

Well, you guys can demand the extermination of his family if you want (some members of which are innocent themselves), but I don't think anyone important will bother trying, not to mention the negligible benefits if it were to happen.

But his family isnt guilty and they are a rich family

You cant wipe out a whole family just because one member is evil

How would you like it if your uncle (for example) was a murderer and the police came round to kill you and your whole family because of what he done?

So his family are responsable for his crimes? That flys in the face of any reasonable legal system.
You cant wipe out an idea by killing a family. Glad you arenta world leader.

Innocent until proven guilty. killing them with little evidence makes us as bad as the terrorists and fascist dictators we oppose.

That's rational... perhaps we should track down Hitler's descendants and erradicate those too?

No, but you would make a very good communist and Saddam would have held you in high esteem. Those were his favorite tactics.
