Original Question: Question for Jehovahs Witnesses....
Would it be ok for one of you guys (or actually girls) to go to a sperm bank, and get pregnant w/out first being married? what about adoption w/out being married?

MY Deleted violation Answer:

Heiss: Thank you for posting the WT article. Many interesting issues were raised in the article, some of which mainstream Christianity takes issue with as well. Due to time constraints, I looked it over kind of quickly. I didn't see where it said anything about being considered as actual "fornication", though, unless i overlooked that.

LOL, "fruitcake". So, maybe they'll violate me again for pasting it over here with the "f" word still intact. Do you think?

Funny how a word straight out of the Bible would be considered to be taboo. That kind of blows my mind, if that's the issue. Geez.

Because Heiss got offended when a known (via the Trisha Apostate List) apostate spoke to him directly and he did not wish to be in violation of the WBTS by having anything to do with you.

--oh yeah you weren't on that list!!! How did they miss you???

Unfortunately we live in a backwards world that says what is right is wrong and what is wrong is right. Isn't it amazing that we can watch all kinds of foolishness on primetime tv with all kinds of vulgar language and acts that should not be on tv but if you say God or anything that goes along with that topic you are saying a bad word (FYI thats how we lost the show Touched by an Angel someone complained that it was offensive because the word God was used so much) What a laugh!! People had better wake up and realize that before anything was there was God and when everything else has passed away there will be God. The creation cannot surpass the creator. Be Blessed!!

Wow. I have no idea why someone would violate you for that.
I'd definitely appeal that violation. I know it seems like a waste of time, because they never even look at appeals, and I don't think I've *ever* heard of a deleted question or answer being reinstated, but we do still need to speak out against it. (At least for the principal of the issue.)

That's weird because I got a violation today over a simple question and I used the word 'fornicate'.
Maybe someone thinks that's a dirty word or something.
There's got to be a connection there.

Edit: Maybe it was someone here.

lol. "sperm, fornication"... I'm starting to sweat here.

Ecclesiastes 3:1-8: "To every thing there is a season, and a time to every purpose under the heaven: A time to be born, and a time to die; a time to plant, and a time to pluck up that which is planted; A time to kill, and a time to heal; a time to break down, and a time to build up; A time to weep, and a time to laugh; a time to mourn, and a time to dance; A time to cast away stones, and a time to gather stones together; a time to embrace, and a time to refrain from embracing; A time to get, and a time to lose; a time to keep, and a time to cast away; A time to rend, and a time to sew; a time to keep silence, and a time to speak; A time to love, and a time to hate; a time of war, and a time of peace."

maybe you were due for a violation? I can't begin to understand the reasoning for most violations I've gotten, yours is even less understandable.

Probably because some thin skinned dork got his ity bitty feelings hurt. Not to mention his pride. If that is the way he is going to be I think a forum in the "little kids are us" section should be his milieu.

There's nothing wrong with it. I'm guessing you somehow offended two people because I think that's all it takes to get a violation notice. They were probably jealous of your avatar.

I don't see a violation in this. You should contact the violation people and contest it or something. Good luck...Blessings!

If you appeal the violation, dear Jane_F is likely to give you the following drivel: "You did not attempt to answer the question appropriately. If you wish to express your opinion, please try the forums or blog formats".
