Daniel 1:8 But Daniel resolved that he would not defile himself with the king's food, or with the wine that he drank. Therefore he asked the chief of the eunuchs to allow him not to defile himself.

Christians have to trust in God and resolve not to defile themselves with the mindset of this world and lose their "saltiness". If they act just like everyone else then how will they be representing Jesus?

Matthew 5:13 "You are the salt of the earth, but if salt has lost its taste, how shall its saltiness be restored? It is no longer good for anything except to be thrown out and trampled under people's feet. 14 "You are the light of the world. A city set on a hill cannot be hidden. 15 Nor do people light a lamp and put it under a basket, but on a stand, and it gives light to all in the house. 16 In the same way, let your light shine before others, so that they may see your good works and give glory to your Father who is in heaven.

Romans 12:1 I appeal to you therefore, brothers, by the mercies of God, to present your bodies as a living sacrifice, holy and acceptable to God, which is your spiritual worship. 2 Do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewal of your mind, that by testing you may discern what is the will of God, what is good and acceptable and perfect.

Daniel 3:15 Now if you are ready when you hear the sound of the horn, pipe, lyre, trigon, harp, bagpipe, and every kind of music, to fall down and worship the image that I have made, well and good. But if you do not worship, you shall immediately be cast into a burning fiery furnace. And who is the god who will deliver you out of my hands?"

16 Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego answered and said to the king, "O Nebuchadnezzar, we have no need to answer you in this matter. 17 If this be so, our God whom we serve is able to deliver us from the burning fiery furnace, and he will deliver us out of your hand, O king. 18 But if not, be it known to you, O king, that we will not serve your gods or worship the golden image that you have set up."

Christians need to be bold witnesses for Christ in this world even if it means suffering persecution or losing friends. We need to remember that we are ambassadors for Christ here in this darkened world and that one day we will be called home to be with the Lord forever.

2 Corinthians 5:14 For the love of Christ controls us, because we have concluded this: that one has died for all, therefore all have died; 15 and he died for all, that those who live might no longer live for themselves but for him who for their sake died and was raised. 16 From now on, therefore, we regard no one according to the flesh. Even though we once regarded Christ according to the flesh, we regard him thus no longer. 17 Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation. The old has passed away; behold, the new has come. 18 All this is from God, who through Christ reconciled us to himself and gave us the ministry of reconciliation; 19 that is, in Christ God was reconciling the world to himself, not counting their trespasses against them, and entrusting to us the message of reconciliation. 20 Therefore, we are ambassadors for Christ, God making his appeal through us. We implore you on behalf of Christ, be reconciled to God. 21 For our sake he made him to be sin who knew no sin, so that in him we might become the righteousness of God.

you're in all probability no longer conscious of this, and it fairly is extremely obvious by the wording of your question, yet all of us understand that the Bible is the observe of God, via fact the e book of Mormon says we've the Bible via Jews. The e book of Mormon helps Bible in each and every thing. That suggested, there are some guy made factors of the Bible. One is the conflict between David and Goliath. mutually as the tale is in all probability awesome, some factors of it are no longer. The apparel that the Bible describes Goliath wearing became no longer available for 2 hundred yrs after the conflict. This and different issues are the end results of blunders on the element of recent-day researchers. the situation of the parting of the crimson Sea, a extra precise factor is south of the fashionable interpretation, and is extra logical. although, it became no longer seen via fact it relatively is now dry land, even with the undeniable fact that it became under water for the duration of the activities suggested in the Bible. And the path to the Mountain of God is distinctive. The extra logical sight is a distance from the place pupils immediately placed the Mountain. this does not advise that the activities of the Bible are fake, yet that they've been interpreted incorrect.

You really learn a lot by blocking people who don't believe as you do, don't you. Just form your own little club of yes men and everything will be just hunky dory, right? The gospel according to you.

Block this one too. I got a million more. You won't silence me.

Absolute sovereignty of God in all things. His people, Kings, fire, lions. and every detail of the future that He has determined to be. Also the shadowing of the great stone (Christ) that would smash all the others that were before Him and would be the greatest of all.

***Listen to Daniel’s Words for Our Day ***

VISION OF GOD’S KINGDOM ESTABLISHED

But now Daniel sees a thrilling sight: “I kept on beholding in the visions of the night, and, see there! with the clouds of the heavens someone like a son of man happened to be coming; and to the Ancient of Days he gained access, and they brought him up close even before that One. And to him there were given rulership and dignity and kingdom, that the peoples, national groups and languages should all serve even him. His rulership is an indefinitely lasting rulership that will not pass away, and his kingdom one that will not be brought to ruin.”—Dan. 7:13, 14.

Who is this being ushered into the Divine Court? It is “someone like a son of man.” But is this not a heavenly scene? Yes, but the term “son of man” here pointed forward to the time when this heavenly Son of God would become a man on earth and be known as Jesus Christ. Now he is exalted to heavenly glory, but he still retains the title “son of man,” which he earned by his faithful course on earth. Here in this vision Daniel sees the “Son of man,” the Lord Jesus Christ. (Matt. 25:31) The time has come at last for him to appear before the Ancient of Days and to ask for the things that are due him according to the covenant for the kingdom over all the earth. (Ps. 110:1-6) All the evidence, visible and spiritual, proves that Jesus Christ has been given ‘the nations as his inheritance and the ends of the earth as his own possession,’ to fulfill Daniel’s vision. (Ps. 2:8) What a thrilling time in which to be living, now that Jesus Christ has been given Kingdom power and rules as King!

Daniel also gives details concerning the rise and fall of world powers from the time of ancient Babylon right on down till the time when the Kingdom of God crushes them out of existence forever. The prophecy directs attention to the Kingdom of God, in the hands of his appointed King and his associate “holy ones,” as the government that will endure forever, for the blessing of all who serve God.—
(Daniel 2:44)  “And in the days of those kings the God of heaven will set up a kingdom that will never be brought to ruin. And the kingdom itself will not be passed on to any other people. It will crush and put an end to all these kingdoms, and it itself will stand to times indefinite;

.(Daniel 7:13-14) 13 “I kept on beholding in the visions of the night, and, see there! with the clouds of the heavens someone like a son of man happened to be coming; and to the Ancient of Days he gained access, and they brought him up close even before that One. 14 And to him there were given rulership and dignity and kingdom, that the peoples, national groups and languages should all serve even him. His rulership is an indefinitely lasting rulership that will not pass away, and his kingdom one that will not be brought to ruin.

All of this is a prophecy for God's New Kingdom of Gorvenment with Jesus Christ the Chosen on or Messiah.
