My new pump will be here today (after a month of red tape and paperwork to get it). I'm retiring my 508 and upgrading to a 722.

For others out there who use this pump, do you like it? Also, if any of you use the CGM, how does that work for you? I won't be getting that right now but I hope to after the first of the year.

My 508 is just old and wearing out. I've had it for 8 years. I decided to go with the 722 because of it's insulin capacity and that I've been happy with Minimed.

Opinions? Thanks!

Hey there!
I have a 522 which is the same, but holds less insulin. I usually use less that 40u a day, so the 722 is just too much for me. But I understand that they are the same, other than reservoir size.
I love my pump. I do not have cgm, as my medical won't cover it, and it is outta the question right now.
This is my first pump, and I have had it about 11 months. I would never, ever want to be without a pump again.
I think one of the differences with the new pumps is that you don't have to enter your sugar level. Once you test with the link meter, the results go right on the pump.
I really hope that my 522 lasts as long as your 508! We paid for it ourselves, so I don't want to replace it anytime soon!!
Good luck with your new pump!
