Yes,meat is the flesh of an animal,and chickens are animals.

The flesh of ANY dead animal is meat. Yes, chicken counts and so does fish. Vegetarians do not eat them.

depends on the vegetarian. I'd say chicken is meat, but then- I'm not a vegetarian. I used to know a strict "vegetarian", who went so far as to work at PETA. She ate ham sandwiches. I guess anyone can call themselves a vegetarian, when they think nobody is watching them.

well iam a vegetarian and i don't eat chicken and niether does any of my veg friends so I would say yes chicken does count as meat

I am a vegetarian and it counts as meat, just like beef, pork, lamb, chicken,fish,veal all disgusting

uhhh yeah. did it have a face at one time? yes. is it an animal? yes. Was it slaughtered? yes. It meets all the requirments to be meat, so yes, it's meat
