Hi Andie,
Did you ever see the movie, Bruce Almighty? The poor guy is so bombarded, overwhelmed by the volume of prayers for this and that, that he hits 'answer all' and everyone's prayer comes true. But then the lottery winners aren't happy-each only gets $1 from a huge jackpot and we see how all are interconnected in God's eyes. What is good for one person is not always good for the other guy. Even prayers for extention of someone's life could mean they will suffer more and longer in a worn-out body. God takes into account not only what we ask for, but what we need, what we deserve, what the souls next to us need, want and deserve. God, unlike Bruce, of course, handles it all. We are weak and we are His children and we need His help so many times, prayer is essential to the faithful. But it would be a show of kindness, love and gratitude on our part to care more about Him, to try to understand Him fully and to glorify His Holy Names.
“Everywhere are His hands and legs, His eyes and faces, and He hears everything. In this way the Supersoul exists. The Supersoul is the original source of all senses, yet He is without senses. He is unattached, although He is the maintainer of all living beings. He transcends the modes of nature, and at the same time He is the master of all modes of material nature. The Supreme Truth exists both internally and externally, in the moving and nonmoving. He is beyond the power of the material senses to see or to know. Although far, far away, He is also near to all. Although the Supersoul appears to be divided, He is never divided. He is situated as one. Although He is the maintainer of every living entity, it is to be understood that He develops and devours all. He is the source of light in all luminous objects. He is beyond the darkness of matter and is unmanifested. He is knowledge, He is the object of knowledge, and He is the goal of knowledge. He is situated in everyone's heart.” [Bhagavad-gita 13.14-18]
"From the rising of the sun to its setting, the name of the Lord is to be praised" (Psalms 113.3) "Glorify the name of your Lord, the most high" (Koran 87.2)
One name of God is Krishna, which is the root of Christos or Christ. Anyone, in any religion, can chant Hare Krishna. That is a Sanskrit word for God, Who is the supremely attractive and lovable Person to all. Hare Krishna is a prayer to know, love and serve God.
God bless you

Well, maybe He isn't answering you right now. That's the meaning of faith. We know He listens because His word says He listens and His word is true and cannot be false regardless of how we feel. The Word is the fact, not our feelings.
Maybe you've asked God to do something and have made the mistake of telling Him HOW to do it. That may be why you can't feel like He's listening, I don't know.
I will pray for you. But remember, our feelings change, but the Word of God does not.

I will say a pray for you, I will ask God and His Angels to bring you peace.
I sometimes think that my prayers are not heard, but every prayer is heard, of course your dont always receive what you have asked for. Just have faith.
Make it simple, the beauty of it all is that if we try to keep things simple and believe that God has heard, then you will notice a change. You are never alone, Gods Angels are always there just speak to them. The minute I send this to you , then I shall also send a prayer, all you have to do is say thanks to God. Simple.

You yourself had answer more then 1400 questions in Y A since 2006.
How could you answer them should no one post the question to you?
But how you and those who question you get in touch one to another without YAHOO ANSWER?
In other word, YAHOO ANSWER is a LINK between you and those who you answer them and therefore without YAHOO ANSWER those questioner could not get an answer from you.
If you don't FEEL God listening to you then you had to check the following:
WHO you took as your GOD?
IF you are very sure that your GOD is a real GOD then check WHO is your LINK to your GOD.
I ever feel the same before which lead me to search a real GOD through the correct LINK, the LINK that suit to my condition.
The LINK I mean is a teaching of Prophet of God who teach us how to reach God. All teaching of prophet is true from God but we are free to chose whose teaching is suit us most.
Should we practise the teaching correctly then we would definitely reach God then we won't have a FEELING being left by God.
God never LEFT us or not LISTEN to us, instead we are the one who LEFT God and not LISTEN to God.
Am praying God to answer your prayer.

God always hears our prayers, he is listening for sure, but sometimes the devil will interfear and make you think he's not so u will give up on him.
But also remember when you pray you always have to have faith in your heart.
I've just said a prayer 4 u.
God bless x

I'll pray for you, I'm in the same place. I know intellectually he is listening all the time but it sucks. We are in good company though, the psalms are full of King David complaining that God has distanced himself.

Yes, sweet girl, I HAVE felt like that from time to time in my Christian walk. The Adversary is very good at throwing stones along our path!
I would be honored to pray for you and will do that right away!
God bless you!

I think the silliest thing about the Christian faith, is how some Christians think God so real, that if they pray to him that he will change their life some how. Usually in the form of that new job, or the love of your life or maybe winning the lottery. ( You and 6 million other people) The thing is, none of these things happen in less you go out to make them happen. Weather you pray to god or not.

i agree with napoli, everything is done for a reason, you can't change what has happened, but there is a reason for it what the reason is i dont know, but in the future you will look back to this difficult time, and think hey i come through that and you will understand, i will say a prayer for you, bless you. x
