There are no confirmed cases of any child getting diabetes from a vaccine. It is likely that the diabetes was a pre-existing condition.

no correlation between vaccination and onset of diabetes has been found. Genetic studies verify that diabetes or the predisposition for it, is present at birth. When it chooses to manifest, or why is not fully understood. But any onset months after a vaccination cannot be correlated, if it happened with in days, maybe, but not any longer than that. By that time the vaccine is no longer present, the immune system has dealt with it within a week or two.

I haven't heard of that, but I have heard it's common for one to get diabetes after their immune system has been active for a while. My mom has diabetes and she said that before she was diagnosed she had a really bad strain of colds/flus. If this correlation is true, then it could be possible, depending on the vaccine, that diabetes is onset from it.

With the newer types of insulin these days, diabetic diets aren't necessarily as restrictive as they used to be. Read here https://tr.im/diabetestreat
As with any medicine or diet change, you should discuss it with your doctor. Fruits, both fresh and dried, have a natural sugar in them that will raise blood sugar levels, so be careful about eating too much. Not sure about the nuts. Moderation is always the key. I've been diabetic for 18 years and just recently changed insulin types. I love it because it gives me more freedom in when and what I eat.

I was diagnosed type one several months after receiving a vaccine. Mere coincidence?
I get two thumbs down for stating a fact?
