That if we see a pattern of apostates jumping at every opportunity to subvert Jehovah's earthly organization, by our participation in either asking questions, that apostates will come to answer in a negative way, to prevent honesthearted ones from seeing the truth, and will use as an opportunity to post their dangerous websites,which has nearly stumbled one sister I know of, or by answering questions that may have actually been posted by apostates, that we should look at Witnessing elsewhere. Where we can make return visits and conduct progressive Bible studies.

Instead of risking any of our inexperienced ones, or even decieving ourselves that we are pleasing Jehovah by allowing ourselves to create a launch board for attacks on His organization.

As I told Frozen Veins, the apostates here are openly identifying themselves because they know the extensive damage they have already done, by decieving Witnesses into engaging with them,and that certain "Witnesses" here will continue to do so, and the apostates can then target those that don't yet recognize them, because our unknowing brothers and sisters will follow another so called Witness to the same place. Because of adding who they think is a loyal Witness to their network. They see a starred question and just jump in with no thought about who posted the question, let alone why.

The apostates have accomplished much here, some of the reponses were heartbreaking because they don't see anything wrong with answering an apostates question for the question's sake. They forget that the question getting answered is NOT the apostates goal,but it is rather to lull them into disobeying Jehovah while yet thinking they are praising Him. Remind anyone of King Saul and Samuel? 1Samuel 15

Make that 1 Samuel chapters 13-15. Saul offering up burnt sacrifices without the authority to do so. Being rebuked by Samuel and then rejected by Jehovah, and claiming he was doing it to please Jehovah. But his lack of OBEDINCE to Jehovah's specific instructions is what we see too much of here.
I hope those that recognize themselves in that catagory take note, and step back into our united fold,before they are lost entirely.

Curious how NONE of the apostates gave achtung_heiss a thumbs down on his answer at the same question where my list is posted. I just gave him the only one he has got until right now at 10:40 pm my time tonight Wednesday 10/03/07. They have even voted his a best answer at times.

Please know I believe Achtung_heiss 's heart is in the right place I just worry that he needs to wake up as well.

To clarify, I believe we should answer honesthearted questions,and that we need to guard against the apostates interference.One suggsetion made by Complete Suit of Armor is to block any suspected apostate, so they can't gain immediate access to our questions. Nor will we follow them to theirs. If WE ask a question AWAYS choose our own best answer, NEVER let it go to voting. ALWAYS when answering a question pay close attention as to who asked, and read the additional details to see if they are trying to debate, if so stay out of it. 2 Tim.2:14-26 and apply 26 to our brothers and sisters that mistakenly think it is OK to engage apostates. Apostates will NOT come back.

We can all be easily caught up in emotion and that is what the apostates bank on. But our faith is based on reasoning and obedience. It is hard to not justify ourselves if we have done the wrong thing for the right reason. But Saul was still rejected as king by Jehovah. Let that be our warning.

Please know that I am not judging anyone, only asking that we be united in our diligence in avoiding debating or engaging those that are known to be apostate because of openly admitting it here. Let us all take care not to stumble our young ones who follow us around in here. They are targeted by Satan because of their inexperience. Seeds of doubt planted in their impressionable minds can do permenant harm. When apostates have shown up at assemblies protesting outside and distributing their literature,we have never been told to go outside to refute them. Instead it was announced that they were there and for us to avoid them and their literature.

Adara, I understand how you feel.What I have always told myself is that I serve Jehovah INSPITE of what people do, not because of what they do or not.
A sister that studied with me as a teenager, warned me to never put her on a pedestal so to speak,not to base my faith, or allow it to be shaken, because of anything that she might do. Never to feel that if she were to leave Jah, that I would. I thought that was a strange statement,and she explained that if Satan could stumble me by causing her to fall, it would make her a target. Remember too, that Jehovah diciplines those whom He loves Heb.12:6.So if there are those leading a double life that don't recieve the discipline, consider them as 2 Thess.3:13-15 advises us to do. Jehovah knows and will take action in His due time. And when He does we will see it was at the perfect time to do so and in the just manner we expect. Jehovah will not be mocked.Gal.6:7

Heb. 6:4-6: "It is impossible as regards those who have once for all been enlightened, and who have tasted the heavenly free gift, and who have become partakers of holy spirit, and who have tasted the fine word of God and powers of the coming system of things, but who have fallen away ["if they then commit apostasy," RS], to revive them again to repentance, because they impale the Son of God afresh for themselves and expose him to public shame."

Apostates are everywhere and their goal is to stop the scripiture at Mathew 24:14 "And this good news of the kingdom will be preached in all the inhabited earth for a witness to all the nations; and then the end will come."

What would make them happy is to either make us follow them or there second purpose, to put an end to the preaching work. When we go out in the field service work, we do run into them at times, but we don't let them stop us from preaching. We do well to act with great dicernment and to decide whether to make an rejoinder or not. If we notice a pattern from a person we do well to not even click there question. If the person you answered refutes your answer or others answers we do well to delete our answer and move on. But we must discern if a person is interested or not.

What ever we do we alway want to put JEHOVAH and his interest first in anything we do.

Besides apostates will continue there fruitless work whether we are here or not. They will continually speak against Jehovah everywhere online or from their door step.

Like Jesus we look to Jehovah for support as we determinedly put the Kingdom first in our lives.-Matthew 6:33; Romans 15:13; 1 Corinthians 2:4.

Thank you for your concern, and like you, I too was concerned. But I feel that if I can help even one person out there to understand the Bible more, or listen to the Witnesses the next time they are called on, then I have done what I should be doing. A sister told me once that while we are out in the ministry going from door to door, we call on people and talk to ones that are opposed, and are apostate, whether we know it or not. So I don't see any difference. As long as we use the Bible to dispute the lies about us and Jehovah, we aren't doing wrong. Yes, we do have to be very careful about answering questions. I pick and choose very carefully. You can usually tell the ones who are sincere about what they ask, those are the ones I answer.

What a wonderfully thought provoking question and statement!
I must admit when I was made to realize that such a thing as apostasy exsisted I became very scared.
I had found what I had been seeking most of my life when I was told the accurate knowledge of Jehovah and his Son,my King,Jesus.
The thought that there could be a way to be tricked into straying from Jah's tent has me scared,still.(Heb.6:4)
I must say that my confidence comes from Jehovah and not from anything within me.
So when a question is asked my response is from the knowledge and wisdom given to me through Jehovah's word and His organization.
When I answer a question it is always in hope of sheading Jah's light on the darkness.(I love questions about hell because I had some of the same questions and Jehovah's Witnesses gently bought me to the understanding of Jehovah's wonderful love of justice and hell is not the type of justice Jah would concider. (Jer.7:31)

There are many who are honestly seeking answers to some question concerning faith.
I had an opprotunity to respond to a seemingly honest inquiry by a person who had been asking questions about salvation and was not getting satisfactory answers for Christendom's priest.
I went to scripture sited what Jah's word says about the subject and refered the person to Jah's organization.
The locust to which you reffered,in Joel 2:11b it states "For he who is carrying out his word is mighty; for the day of Jehovah is great and very fear-inspiring and who can hold up under it?"And we have learned that there were some who repented during the plague (Joel 2;12-14,Act 2:38-40)
I agree we should be careful,as we have been instructed in 2 Tim: 2 16
I feel as if a person would have a better chance of convincing me that the blue sky is green than of convincing me that there is an organization other than Jehovah's Witnesses that are doing the will of Jehovah.
I study and pray so I continue to mantain that point of view.
As I mentioned before my confidence is in Jehovah and nothing in me.
Any new ones that are having trouble or doubt after reading a question or statement should call an elder and explain what's going on.

Yes, I agree. There have been times when I have questioned the wisdom of ones starring questions from obvious apostates. Then on reading the question and some of the responses, found that some brothers and sisters have answered the question. I then feel obliged to respond to make it clear that our beliefs are based upon the Bible. Anyway, here is the list in case anyone has trouble getting to it.
Everytime we engage an apostates question,or debate with them we show disloyalty to Jehovah and our brothers and sisters. It is designed to decieve and divide us.

We have been cautioned in our congregation about frequenting the messages boards online due to the apostate activity there. I try not to be disobedient in doing this, as I feel like there are a lot of honest-hearted people who are sincerely seeking true answers to life's problems.

Yes, we have to be careful....Satan is crafty and just when we think we are not within his reach of lies, we might fall captive.

We are like a swarm of locusts......buzzing and causing a loud noise with the truth which offends the ears of some listeners, but is such sweet music to the ears of others.

I am a witness and I love Jehovah God, but what I see wrong is all the hypocrisy in the kingdom halls. Most calling themselves witnesses are not at all, but lead double lives and such. The excuse "everyone's imperfect" is so used and overly abused by many witnesses that they stumble many and also cause many to shun the truth.

I hope this changes because though Jehovah knows my heart and that I love him, many witnesses who think they stand have fallen.

I agree with you on a lot of things here, but who can fight them when Jehovah's name is being brought down by them. if you have a good head knowledge in the truth and your heart soul and mind is subjected to the true God then we have the right to defend our faith to the hilt. when our brothers and sisters in all these other places that suffered so much by the hands of these such like apostates did they give up there fight to Honor Jehovah's name, no they kept ringing forth the truth. no one says that all have to answer the questions, you have a choice to do that, but if there is a question that you think needs some attention then you give all you have, i have heard of experiences that where some one read through questions and the answers that was given helped them to look at the witnesses differently. most times it is not what the question is but how you answer it. you cannot paint everyone with the same brush, all have different abilities and ways of handling things, and it would be wrong to use your conscience or that of others on the ones that want to praise Gods name, build up your strength in Jehovah but most of all stand up to the truth. and make his name known.

I do have a habit of responding to anyones questions that deals with Jehovah's Witnesses.. But most of the time, these people are only asking questions so they can find a opportunity to show us apostate information. They think they are showing us the truth, but what they don't know is that they are showing us misleading information.

As of right now, I'm trying to ignore those who are trying to do these things.
