Oh yeah! I drank so much soy milk and Mega Mass 4000, my kidneys turned into castanets. My wee wee had the viscosity of Henry's Roof patch compound. The Doctor told me to stop. I got better. b

No. Depending upon whom you choose to believe, soy is either a wonder food or the next asbestos. There are a few sites on the internet (backed by the meat and dairy industries of course, such as New Zealands SOS and Wapf and Doc Mercola) that would have you believe it. But,,,,For example I could start with the conclusion that eating oranges and broccoli was going to cause cancer, I could actually find a number of articles that showed that a component of these foods (vitamin C) has been shown in some trials done on animals and cell cultures to proliferate tumors. I could then publish articles warning of the dangers of oranges and broccoli and cite these studies as “proof.” Of course, I would be going against the much greater body of evidence that shows the exact opposite effect.
Soy is great. Enjoy!

Hi Sparrow,
Yes, you see some sites that do say too much soy / soy milk is not healthy for you and in some cases, may cause cancer. ‘Soy’ what? None of these sites are credible. There is no medical research that supports their claims.
The Mayo Clinic, the number one treatment cancer center in the country, indicates that soy is beneficial in treating certain types of cancer, not causing them.

To paraphrase Ben Franklin, believe half of what you read and less of what you hear.

The Isoflavones in soy products act like estrogen. In testing, an increase in estrogen has been known to cause breast cancer in both men and women but the direct link of cancer to soy is still a theory. Only an EXORBITANT amount of soy, they say would really be harmful.

Yes I was reading an article at Dr. Mercola's website and he does warn us about soya milk and tofu. Many things that we think are good for us are not. The problem is you need to know how these things are processed and how much preservative is in it. Do your research. Anything eaten in exaggeration these days can cause cancer and too much soya can cause a hormonal imbalance. Drink lots of water instead of Soya milk, eat vegetables and fruit and you will be much healthier.

Uh...i've never heard of this, but i'm gonna say no.
Soya milk is totally natural, derived from plants.
The only ingredients (unless you have sweetened soya milk) are soya and water.
Cows milk has puss from infected udders and god knows what chemicals in it.
I'd say soya was the safer option.
