Five women surprising a friend for her birthday while on a cabin retreat (which happens to coincide with her 57th birthday). Came up with a "Heinz 57" theme, spinning off the idea of bringing all our leftover decorations from previous parties (low budget!). Doing "cheeseburgers in paradise" (I like mine with Heinz 57...) and margeritas for the menu. Looking for other ideas to bring the theme to the forefront. Any suggestions from you creative types out there???

Something sweet would be nice. Try a chocolate fondue - Mix 1 can Hershey's syrup with 1 can Sweetened Condensed Milk, and a dash of salt. Microwave on high for 3 1/2 to 4 minutes, and stir after 2 minutes. Stir in 1 1/2 teaspoon vanilla. Serve warm with pretzels, marshmallows, fruit, cubes of spongecake, graham crackers, etc.

Saute some burger (I like mine made with turkey burger) and add some heinz 57 to the mixture. Meanwhile, split some refrigerator biscuits in half. Add a bit of the meat mixture to one half of the biscuit, I like to add a little bit of shredded cheese, and top with the other half of the biscuit. Bake until the biscuits are yummy golden brown (just follow the directions on the package). They're delicious!
