sammy---control yourself or no worms for you! Somebody referred to themselves as "lactose vegan" in a previous question and I wanted to see if it existed.

You may try again to answer the question asked.

I saw that too. What a crock.

I guess I'm a bovine-vegan because I eat steaks.

My heavens, I never have been flashed, but I did unintentionally flash a few folks once. I was in the hospital some time back and decided to take a stoll to the vending area. Well, I wasn't thinking about what I was wearing and, let's just say that those hospital gowns don't leave a lot to the imagination on the backside. The nurse came up from behind me and put a blanket over my shoulders . . . I was wondering why it was a little drafty back there!

Crash course on terminology

Vegan - shuns all animal products
Lacto-vegetarian - a 'vegan' who eats dairy (a bit oxymoronic but the easiest way to understand it)
Ovo-vegetarian - like above, but eggs instead of dairy
Lacto-ovo-vegetarian - in North America, simply called 'vegetarian'

Lactose vegetarians eat vegetables and dairy products made from animals. Most strict vegans don't recognize the other vegetarians. They don't eat or wear anything made from animals. They feel it's a lifestyle and not just a diet. http://rds.yahoo.com/_ylt=A0geu6Aa1wJH1w8BfkhXNyoA;_ylu=X3oDMTE4ZWtlOThrBHNlYwNzcgRwb3MDMgRjb2xvA2FjMgR2dGlkA00wMDFfODMEbANXUzE-/SIG=12n8psp5r/EXP=1191454874/**http%3a//vegetarian.about.com/od/vegetarianvegan101/tp/TypesofVeg.htm

vegitarians eat only things without a face. Veagans dont eat anything that has belonged to an animal including milk, milk products, eggs, they dont use leather or fur clothing and any by-products of animals. it is a very difficult and expensive lifestyle to support.

Not acceptable... vegans do not use or eat anything derived from an animal source.

I don't care because I'm a lacto-herbivore myself.

A lactose vegan is someone who is VERY confused...

Edit:
It is extra-funny that he uses wikipedia as his source of information...
