we r doing this project in science rite? well we hav to come up wit either:
1. ways to conserve energy for the skl
2. ways to save money for the skl
3. ways to make money for the skl
4 ways to recycle for the skl
if any1 has any ideas can u pleez tell me and they hav to b inexpensive and easy... thnx

Without knowing your "skl", it is hard to really know what ideas are good but here are some ideas:
CONSERVE
Many schools cover the windows or have blinds. On sunny days let the light in and shut off the lights.
Open the windows at the school instead of running the heat and air conditioning year round.
RECYCLE
Put recycle baskets in every room to collect writing paper for recycling.
If there is room and you have an agriculture department, perhaps they could use some (or all) of the lunch waste to start a compost program. Even one day a week worth would help over time.

The National Resources Defense Council has an awesome website talking exactly about this subject. They use "The Green Squad" to explain all the things you can do in your school to make it more eco friendly, like unplugging PCs at the end of the day, for example. The interactive site takes you from room to room, it has a great "Assignment list" you can print out, things you can suggest to your school officials and I think even a free poster for your school.
