What KIND of leaves?

Some would just be extra fiber.

Some might even be mildly nutritious or medicinal.

Some would be poisonous.

This greatly depends on the leaf.
If you wear to eat a eucalyptus leaf it would certainly kill you.
You should be real careful in which leaves you eat.
Even some of the leaves from berry bushes can make you very ill even though you can eat the berries.
I might suggest that you stick to only the plants you are familiar with, or get some books on eating plant matter.

Um....

That would really depend on what kind of leaves you're eating, so there's no way to properly answer this question unless you clarify. However, I would assume that it is probably not the wisest thing to randomly eat leaves off of the things growing in your backyard...

I guess it would depend upon what leaves you were talking about. There certainly is NOT enough money in the world that would get me to eat poison ivy, poison oak, or poison sumac......

I guess that would depend on:

a) The kind of leaves

b) How many you eat

c) Whether or not you are allergic to that particular plant.
