i have genital warts and i have talked to my dermatologist about it and ive researched it. but 95% of all the information is about women and of that about 75% is not consistent in its information.I was wondering of anyone has REAL FACTUAL information for me to look at. a website, or PERSONAL EXPERIENCE would be the best. thanks

Lots of men have HPV and there are lots of support groups out there for them. If you want accurate info it is always best to talk to a professional. There is a new site out there that has a specialty room where you can talk to a professional, who will answer your questions or direct you to someone who can, they also have a support group for people with HPV. I will include their link with a couple of others.

Here's a website that talks about genital warts in men.

http://herpes-coldsores.com/std/genital_warts.htm

The reason you are having a rough time finding info about it for men is because it's women who most commonly have a problem. The site above mentions herpes on the scrotum and tip of the penis.

The treatment, signs and symptoms for genital warts are the same for the vagina or the penis.... so you can research that stuff, regardless of anatomy.

A lot of men have HPV and just don't realize it because there are so few signs or symptoms of the virus.

Here are a few good links about HPV and men:

http://www.nccc-online.org/hpv-in-men.php

Good luck!

This is going to sound crazy but I had a friend tell me that someone told her that if you ate a piece of one of the warts that they would go away. She had 2 on her foot and 2 on her hand.. They are all gone..
