Because Helen, you have to eat your fair share. I mean, think about it. If everyone didn't eat their fair share of murdered being the bodies would be piling up all over the place creating one hell of a mess and stink.
So, quite whining, fire up the BBQ, grab some choice part of a murdered being, rub it with some garlic, salt and pepper it, grill it to perfection and dig in.

You don't have to, but it's completely normal to eat "murdered beings". All carnivores need to kill they prey to eat them and survive - lions, wolves, sharks, snakes . . . Humans are generally omnivores - part meat-eaters, like the animals mentioned above, and part-vegetarian. A small population stick to either one.

No body is forcing you to eat anything. But humans are omnivores by nature, so it is natural that you are drawn toward eating meat.
If you dont like it any more, then go veggie. Just dont bother trying to push your beliefs on the rest of us. Not that you are, or that you would.

what happened to free will? just because i liek a big juicy peice of cow doesnt mean you have to eat it. but dont glare at me for doing so!
also if no one ate certain animals the would most liekly end up ebing extinct. so if enough ppl became vegitarian then a lot of animals would die out.
so really either way you are murdering somehting. may as well eat it

You don't have to... you don't need to either. Meat is unhealthy as well as cruel. It's your choice whether to eat it though but if you've thought enough about it to ask this question then it may do some good researching a veg diet and seeing whether it's right for you. If you can think of more than just your tastebuds then going veg could be the best decision you ever make :o)

You shouldn't eat murdered beings. Cannibalism is illegal.
Stick to eating plants and animals.

Everybody has to get their energy from other organisms.
You have a choice.
There are lots of animals, plants, fungi and microorganisms we can choose from.
You can eat dead animals or living plants.
A lot of people think live plants transfer better energy than dead animals.
I happen to be fond of spaghetti bolognaise.
