any chest pain should be checked by a Dr it could be something as simple as a torn muscle in the chest,or it oculd be angina it could be a host of things

chest pains are one of those things that it is good to get checkout out quickly, every time I've heard of a friend go to the hospital with chest pains they have been seen real quick so they are taken quiet seriously.
seeing as it has been around for some weeks and seems to be causing discomfort it really would be best to get it checked, may just be cramps or something but even if its just that you might be able to get some sort of pain killers to help with the discomfort.

Firstly i suggest you go to your doctors. Pains in the chest could be due to numerous things. You dont say if you have any other symptoms other than these pains. For example, if chest pain is accompanied by a general feeling of unwellness, and a productive cough it would be symptomatic of a chest infection.Go to your gp..good luck

Go and see a doctor to-day. Chest pains must always be checked out. it is not indigestion, you may have just pulled a ligament, but do not hang on to this theory just go and see one.

If you are not able to see your doctor, pop along to your local casualty / A&E department. You may have to wait a short while but they generally treat chest pain quite quickly in triage.

Forget the Doctors, get down to A&E right now, it may be too late by the time you get an appointment at the Doctors, it may well be nothing to worry about but do you really want to take a chance?
