Well i have this bump inside my lip kinda small not itchy or annoying, just wanna make sure its not herpes...i think i got it from me biting my lip on the inside while eating food, i always bite my tongue,inside cheeks and inner bottom lip....i have had no signs of herpes, just a big headache that i got from playing football and hitting someone hard...what does herpes look like inside your mouth? do they come in clusters or what? how do they heal?

It's probably a canker sore and not herpes.
Canker sores are usually on the INSIDE of a person's mouth. Canker sores are basically just ulcers in the mouth. They can appear on the tongue, cheeks, gums, inside the lips, etc. A person can get them from food, stress, accidental biting, and many other things. They are NOT herpes and are NOT contagious.
Cold sores ARE herpes and they ARE contagious. Cold sores almost always appear on the OUTSIDE of a person's mouth. They can appear on the outside lips and in the corners of the lips.
If you are concerned you have cold sores (oral herpes) then see your doctor and have them look at you. Cold sores are EXTREMELY common. It's estimated about 75 - 80% of the WORLD has them.

Ok here is the break down. HSV 1 is a cold sore, generally its on your lips or around your lips, not in your mouth. A canker sore (not contagious) is usually white with a reddish ring to it, it can burt and be painful like an ulcer, usually its not a bump but almost a little hole. HSV 2 is genital herpes, they look like sores. The bump you have in your mouth usually the inside of your lip sometimes is a nerve that has risen to the inside of your lip from irritation and creats a ridge. This also happens if you keep rebiting the same area > honestly I wouldnt worry to much, however if you have had sexual relations including oral sex and do not know your partners full history, then I would get tested. However not likely to be herpes.

I got identified with herpes virus (type 2) about five years back, when I was still in college and had a dumb one-night stand. I understand lots of young women say this, but I swear I had never done that sort of thing before. theres usually an itching feeling on the shaft of a man penis followed by appearance of a crop of small painful blisters .can also appear on thighs and buttocks . all blisters will burst within 24 hrs painful ulcers sometimes crust over.glands in the groin can become enlarged. very painful.temperature..outbreaks of blisters are likely to recur . you need to visit a Dr if u have herpes, incubation period is 7 days and you may need a ANTIVIRAL drug or ointment.if you do have herpes don't pass it on has you can very very easily

I am absolutely terrified and I feel so alone. I just found out last week that I tested positive for hsv1 and 2. I have been with the same man for the past 10 years and within the last year found out that he has cheated on me with numerous women. I am so scared that I can give it to my children by kissing them and them eating with me...I feel like my whole life has changed. And even though the nurses, my doctor, and websites say that a lot of people have it I still feel like I am by myself. My self esteem has dropped and I feel like I have been used up. On your mouth it is a cold sore, on your genitals it will look like a small cluster of tiny blisters that are painful and itchy.
It does not sound like Herpes virus. But if it concerns you, bring it up with your doc.

Herpes Type 1 which you are talking about comes out as little bumps on the inside of your mouth. You can pop them and juice will come out. They won't itch. I have heard that just popping them won't make them go away though. They will come back. But putting Dr. Tishners on them will dry them up real fast.
