my birthday is in the first week of december and i need some ideas. last year for my sweet 16 i had six of my closest girl friends come over and we had dinner at my house, opened presents, sang some karaoke, listened to music, danced a little, and then had an all nighter. i have absolutely no idea what to do for my 17th birthday since it's not quite 18 yet 16. you know it's just kind of in the middle. anyways...i need some ideas. anything. really.

How about something low-key? A party at a favorite restaurant is a good idea.

Parties are the best! Just ask your friends what you want to do. I remember for my 14th birthday party I had 32 girls over and we pulled an all nighter playing truth and dare and doing all that fun stuff. Do pretty much what you did above, as long as you have fun it shouldn't have to be too extravagent.

What's with the stupid answers?! I had the exact same problem on my 17th Birthday. If your parents aren't allowing a party, why not go into town for it? See if you can get into a club haha? :) Then you could have the girls back at yours to stay? Or there's the usual cinema/going out for a meal/bowling/ice-skating/carnival if it's on.

theme parties are always great Martha Stewart Magazines are good for inspiration. If its gonna be just you and the girls again...I like doing something new as a group so maybe hire a henna tattoo artist or take a dance lesson together.
