hmmm i think when you say saliva it pertains to the secretions we found in mouth/bucal cavity, it is produced by the parotid gland and aid in the physical/mechanical digestion of food because it contains enzymes. And when you say sputum it pertains to the secretions from the respiraty tract example: phlegm.
