I'm assuming the numbers are degrees Celsius and not just dial numbers.

Fresh vegetables should be kept between 2 and 4 degrees Celsius (36-40F) Below 2C high water content veggies such as lettuce will wilt because ice crystals start forming at that temp. Above 4C bacterial growth accelerates.

I thought different foods kept best at different temperatures and there are different shelves all of which really don't see uniform temperature. But in general, a temperature of about 4 - 5 degrees Celsius is supposed to be good for the foods. The deep fridge is below zero (-18 or so).

The middle shelf should be 5°C this means that the shelf above the vegetables drawers will be at about 2°C which is where you should keep meat and fish and the veg drawers are then up to 10°C which prevents them from getting too cold and discolouring.
