YES!!!!!!!!!!!!! My first new crop honeycrisp apple is one of my favorite moments of my YEAR.

The first time I ever tried one was when I was working in the produce department of my local food co-op about 5 years ago and my boss and I were sampling the newest apples of the fall. I just about cried it was so good.

They are a great tasting apple aren't they? I was (and still am) working in the produce dept. when I first tasted a Honeycrisp apple. they are still a relatively new variety, but with more growers producing them they should be in season a little longer (weather permitting). Enjoy!

I love those apples and yes I do miss them out of season. I believe the first time I had one is when a fellow co-worker brought some into work to try. I was instantly hooked!

Yeah Sammy I do......just like you miss the worms when I don't feed you little birdies :-)

I found that the only comparable apple off-season is Fuji apples.....they taste great and the juice literally pours off of them when you bite one.

Does the "Unicorn Donger" need more apples? Try Burgundy Red's. Sour, firm and explode with flavor.
